This is Merle Glen Saul:




Merle was 55 years old when he was last seen on foot in Omaha, Nebraska on October 1st, 2015. He was homeless at the time and previous injuries to his feet from frostbite made it difficult for him to walk. Family reports he told them he was planning to hitch a ride to Omaha. He has not been heard from since.

Merle is a veteran with the US Army where he served as a paratrooper. It is unusual for him to go this long without contacting his children or returning to his reservation for Sun Dance. He was known to be transient and felt more comfortable sleeping on the ground from his days in service. Merle remains missing.
