Help us find Mickey Sell-Rezac

May 11
Michelle "Mickey" (Rezac) Sell is still missing. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to help with locating her.
Just to recap, she went missing on Friday May 1.
She was spotted at Casey's on west 23rd around noon, with a burgundy/maroon top and a long gray sweater over it.
She was also spotted on county road 19 and west military walking towards Ventura around 2:30 that afternoon.with a cream colored top, blue jeans and white nike tennis shoes.
At some point during the day It is believed that she took the sweater and maroon/burgundy shirt off.
She had blue rimmed glasses on and did not have her dentures in.
Please keep an eye out for Mickey and also any clothing. If you see or find anything please contact her cousin Jolene Vavra on fb messenger or FPD! Thank you again for everyone's help! Here is a recent photo and also video footage from Casey's. (Including in fb post)

The fact that she removed both her jacket and her shirt is troubling. Did she suffer from mental health issues? It's spring but we still have temps in some parts of the country that are still dipping into the 30's and 40's at night. Hopefully, someone remembers seeing her.

So sad. I know her son. Apparently she did suffer from mental illness for some time. My thoughts go out to all of her loved ones during this difficult time.

Woman’s body found near Nebraska recreational area

@Dnp2be
It seemed she was loved and adored by many.
I came across this article and I thought it showed just how much people cared. ❤️

The two men who brought the search to an end are Marcus Ditchman and Shane Felte.

“I can tell you, I started bawling when I found her,” Ditchman said.
The emotions run high because we’re hoping for a different outcome. We knew that after 13 days the hope was probably pretty much gone -- but we still want to bring some closure to the family,” Ditchman said.
Her family called her Mickie.

She’ll be buried alongside her family in Cedar Bluffs.

This group will be hanging on a while longer. Connected by a woman who touched them all.

“Never give up. And with all the support and everybody that stood by my side I couldn’t have done it alone,” Vavra said.

I wish I had the opportunity to have met her. Apparently, through my sisters ancestory research, we are related to her somehow. But Fremont really isn’t very big and cedar bluffs is very small...I imagine lots is people are related to each other.

thank you for the article. It was a nice tribute.
