His Namus was updated on 6 August but no ruleouts, nothing updated publicly as far as I could see.

The age regression drawing has been added to his DNA Doe Project page.

I can't help but point out that the background photo was taken somewhere in the UK at a rural countryside station, probably in the 1970s or 1980s, and isn't much like the large, older American trainyards he was found at or likely frequented in life. That seemed pretty obvious to me, but trains are one of my big hobbies so maybe it's not as noticeable to a "normal" person?

That's nitpicky though and otherwise it looks great!

I just watched this episode of Naming the Dead. So frustrating that they've found living family members but can't yet solve this case. Hoping it's just a matter of time until they find the missing link and he'll have his name back soon.

DNA Doe Lincoln County Rail Car John Doe 1961 | DNA Doe Project

“Although we now know that the Doe has ancestors from Louisiana, it seems that multiple branches of his family moved to parts of Texas such as Houston and Beaumont,” said team leader Jennifer Randolph. “It’s possible that he grew up in Texas, and he may still have living family in Houston and/or Beaumont.”
