@Blue Ridge You’re very welcome! It’s coming up on a year since she was last seen. My heart aches for her loved ones and for her. This case sadly has no new updates that can or have been released as of lately however it’s still very active. The last I had heard as of yesterday, information has been given to authorities with the hopes that it will help in finding her. I don’t know however, if the information is new or not. I have faith that justice will be served in this case.

I so hope it is indeed new and helpful, and can lead them to Sunny!

Beyond the Live PD showing, I can't find a single media update on this case. Sad how some cases get so much attention and others aren't deemed worthy.
With a history like that and the more recent arrest on meth charges, Sunny clearly trusted the wrong person. Cliff Coates disappeared this young girl, who is going to seek justice for her?

It appears the only way to know where her body is, is for Cliff Coates to tell us where he disposed of her body. IMO there is no way she is alive, and no way Cliff did not kill her. His words and lack there of are damning.

As far as I can tell, this is still a very active case and the FBI continues to diligently work on the case. I do believe it has been requested by the FBI that no media or outside agencies be used for her case, not sure exactly what that means or entails...but I’m wondering if that is the reason for the silence. I am sure they don’t want anything in the case to be jeopardized. I pray the family will have closure soon tho.

Wondering if the FBI investigators were able to determine exactly where Sunny disappeared from? Casino, or gas station? Or somewhere else?

I hope that the family is holding up as well as can be expected. They need someone on their side to help find their little girl.

I’ve heard nothing. The last post in her missing group is about sex trafficking. Some busts in Nebraska with rumors of more to come. I sure hope LE isn’t letting this case go cold.

Unfortunately I have not heard of any updates and I’ve seen nothing since the beginning of July on her social media missing pages. I’m sad at the lack of attention her case receives in the media. Sadly I see nothing locally. I’m glad people here haven’t forgotten her.

I check online for news but I cant always see the pages being outside of the US and I haven't found anything different to what others have said/posted about - I find it heart breaking that she could be a 'forgotten' person (except to her family and friends) as it is for all missing people that don't get the coverage or the 'voice' to keep them visible in MSM.
