FBI says missing 18-year-old Nebraska woman 'could be in danger'

Sunny Sramek was last seen April 20, when she and a man left Trenton, Nebraska, in a 2004 White Ford Explorer, purportedly headed to Omaha, according to her mother’s report to the Hitchcock County Sheriff’s Office. The Explorer’s license plate number is HGJ 341, and the vehicle has since been recovered, according to the FBI.

If you follow along on her missing page a family member will be interviewed by a reporter today. So, maybe this will pick up some traction with the media and generate some tips to law enforcement.

Talked to her family member running her missing site. No news front really but alot more media interviews which in itself is taking a toll on her and the family.. Sending prayers her way since I know the family monitors our thread for ideas..

This article says Sunny is married. She said so in a facebook post, but I didn't know what that eant. Apparently she is.
Apparently, her disappearance has nothing to do with her marriage.

Unfortunately, she and her family live in an area where there is little to no media around to push the story to. The big plus, however, is that the FBI has the information up. Leads me to believe that the FBI is involved in some capacity with this case.

Regarding the lack of media coverage, I’ve worked since she went missing to get media to pick it up wth no luck. Fortunately a reporter contacted me about a month ago and she has worked wth me to get a story on her. It worked, because on the 18th she interviewed Sunny’s parents. And yes, the FBI has been involved for awhile. Also, I, her cousin, didn’t report her missing, her mother did.

Does anyone know, has LE been talking with her male friend who was the last to see her? Has it been made clear if the gas station and the casino are one and the same or did he get his story wrong?

Not sure how to become verified, very new to this. LoL All that can be said is this is an active investigation. FBI is being very tight lipped which is fine for my family - no one wants anything to jeopardize the investigation.

“He said he looked for her, couldn’t find her, so he left,” the post said, according to NBC News. “[He] left the area [without] Sunny. No call to police. No nothing. At one point his story changed—they stopped at a gas station in Omaha and [he] went in to pay for the gas. When he returned to the vehicle, Sunny was gone."
