Nedra & Patsy's sisters

that reminds me of what they said after the murder..that they just wanted to move on w. their lives.(which I think they said in hopes LE would back off)

And thats another thing....could you and your spouse just "move on with your lives"....after your daughter had been murdered. They act like John had lost his job, or Patsy had got caught stealing, or Burke got in a fight with a buddy at school.....they just want to "move on with their lives".

I don't know,I thought it was said there was a minister there, too?
And that PR said something like,'I guess there are some things in life you can't take back' ..(?)

Oh Geez...she said THAT? I didn't know about that...

And I read somewhere that when asked what Patsy would have to say to JonBenet when they meet up again, she said, "We need to talk."

Does that sound bizarre to anyone else? That's what my mother used to say to me when I was in trouble, or what I say to my husband when I have bad news to share with him.

Hate to be the one to break it to Patsy, but I don't think that she will ever have the chance to tell JB that they need to talk....because they are both in two different places....IMO. I do believe in a heaven...and a hell. What would she say to her anyway..."JonBenet, I am so glad that I ran into you, on these streets of gold, because we really need to talk. You see, my darling...my baby....my princess....I did NOT MEAN to throw you against that tub. I was just mad and upset that you had wet the bed. I was just a little bit tired of getting up in the middle of the night, and having to change the sheets, it was really getting old. My rage, plus the fact that I had a couple of cocktails at the White's party, made me fly into an anger/alcohol induced rage. I am sorry that you didn't get to grow up to be a teenager, or graduate from High School and college, or to get married and have children of your own, and then maybe become a grandmother. I didn't MEAN to kill you...and you see, that staging that your father and I did....well, it was meant to keep us out of prison, because we had to raise your brother.....PLUS we are selfish. I hope that you understand. We didn't mean for this to happen".

without repentance there is no forgiveness. Sadly you are so right.

well stated. I don't know what else she could say. perhaps "if you consider the events of my life, with my cancer, social expectations and the pressures I was under, I'm sure you can understand how this could happen, right??????"

  • #226
Exactly, what could she possibly have been thinking would be a good thing to say to JonBenet? Apologize? Explain how it wasn't really her fault, and that someone or something else was to blame? It's just such a bizarre comment, as is the one about things you can't take back.

That's right, Patsy, you can't take back losing your cool and freaking out on your favorite child, then lying your butt off about it every day of your life afterwards.

Exactly...Patsy was all about excuse, excuses, excuses......woe is me...poor pitiful Patsy. I am going to start calling her PPP.

absolutely.she betrayed JB till the day she died...not only that, she and JR ruined other ppl's lives with their lies..there is just no way she is going to heaven to be with JB.No way.
IF JR wanted to save Patsy(and likely himself too)from prison, the least he could have done is kept his mouth shut and not blame (and severely stress out,I'm sure !!!) INNOCENT people !!!
I do have a bit of respect for Susan Smith,as she did confess and is doing her time. And the only other person she blamed was that 'generic' looking suspect.

its simply hard to believe that patsy can say her daughter is with God and believe she is going there too. Simply put, the Ramseys are not true Christians if they can live with themselves. This notion plays into the belief i have that JR and PR told Hoverstock of what they had done and begged to be forgiven.. I think Burke is the only possible source of the truth someday..

I think it's in PMPT that Holverstock walked right past Patsy in church and didn't even speak to her (later on,not sure when). He claimed he hadn't seen her but,the witness said,"Bull ! He walked right past her !!!" So apparently he was shunning her publicly, later on ,at some point.

LOL....that's funny. He was generic...as generic as you can get.

I agree with you though...at least she finally confessed. I wouldn't say that I had respect for her though....(LOL).

I will always find it hard to deal with the fact that if PR & JR Ramsey were involved in this crime (and the evidence clearly supports this notion), how could they live with themselves? how could their family support such people? how do you look at yourself in the mirror knowing you killed an innocent blond angel? how do you shove things into your daughter's vagina or strangle her in a staging effort? most of all, how do you claim to believe in the goodness of God knowing that you commited a sin that he surely won't forgive you for.

The same way an Islamist blows up a three-year-old: because it's "God's will" or some other damn thing.

I respect her confessing and doing her time, although I don't like her.She could have just handed the kids over to their dad and let him raise them.I guess she was trying to get the ex bf's sympathy and attention, and get rid of them permanently at the same time.I don't buy it when she said she drove around and went to other places first..I think she hopped right in that car and drove it straight into the lake. That was her plan,IMO.

OH yeah, John definately put his two cents into that ransom note....you are probably right about him writing his version...and then giving it to Patsy...and then she merged hers with his. I believe that she put the combined versions together, while John was staging the crime scene, because not only do I believe that Patsy wouldn't have been able to go through with it, but they were working on a limited amount of time.

like someone else said earlier(ref. to Patsy saying she and JR each wrote a version of the liturgy and combined it),Patsy just couldn't stop confessing.

Getting back to the original topic of this thread, and the apparent cover up by Nedra & the sisters. I have been wanting to write this for a while, but seems so bizarre. I have a 8 yr old son who started soiling himself all of a sudden a few months ago, I went on-line and started looking up reason why this could be happening...ANYWAY, I came across a Message Board for women who where molested by their Mothers. It actually happens more than a person would think judging by the number of members on the forum. Out of curiosity I started reading some, (because I frankly never heard it discussed before) I'll never forget a post made by one woman who wrote about the abuse she received from her Mother, her Grandmother and her paternal Aunt. The Grandmother started the sexual abuse on her 2 daughters and they continued it down the family line. She said at one point she would intentionally soil herself to keep her mother "grossed out" enough to leave her alone (sexually), but then suffered physical abuse as a result. I see people pointing the finger at JR as far as molestation, but considering the behavior of these women I could definitely see it as the other way.

Oh just incase you're wondering...we found out my son was chronically constipated and his soiling was due to straining. Once we got the bowls normal and regular again, he's not had the problem...but when he did, I darn well made sure he wore a pull-up to bed, so I wouldn't have to change his sheets every day...(as I did when he was younger and wet the bed often). Why didn't the Ramsey's just buy the poor child a box of night time pull-ups if she was prone to accidents....geesh

I think they did.

But I see your point.

Yep, there was a package of Pull-Ups hanging out of the bathroom cabinet, in one of the pictures shown to Patsy. She said that she rarely used them, though, and had bought some for the cruise (that may be the package in the photo).

I do not know why Patsy did not put a pullup on Jonbenet that night. My guess is that JonBenet was already causing a fuss.

I recall Patsy saying that she would leave JonBenet wet to teach her a lesson...

Good point, Toltec. I can't imagine why JB wasn't dressed in a pull-up that night either - they were leaving early in the morning, and they'd been at a party that evening. My own experience with my kids is that they will be too busy playing to stop and eat when with friends, but will stop and drink, especially if soda is available. I would think Patsy would want her in one so that if there was a nighttime wetting, they wouldn't need to wash sheets and take baths, etc, before leaving for the plane. Remember Patsy only allowed herself and family about half an hour to get up and get out.

Yes, LHP said Patsy had decided to just let JB wet herself, and figure it out that way. Seems like an odd choice when

A.) the kid is 6 and wetting herself both day and night should be a sign of something wrong, certainly not "no big deal", and

B.) she just accepted what the dr said about it being normal (when it's clearly not) and never followed up with a pediatric specialist (could very well have been a medical issue the regular ped. missed that a specialist wouldn't), and

C.) The child had frequent infections that are hard to clear up from always being in wet underwear.

It might just be me, but if my daughter has frequent infections on her genitals at age 6 from constant exposure to wetness, not only am I going to keep her in pull-ups so that she doesn't have to endure infections and treatment for them, but I'm going to consult every specialist that may be able to find what's making her have such issues with incontinence.

I guarantee you that if Patsy was suffering from incontinence and had to treat frequent infections from always being wet, she'd have wasted no time consulting a specialist to help her clear up the problem. Why didn't JonBenet deserve the same kind of attention?

the same thing happened to my son,he had an impaction,so I wonder if the time LHP found her bed soiled, that's what happened? We finally got him cured w a trip to the Dr and a script for Miralax(I think that's what it's called).

I wonder if she even made it to bed that night.
