I've done some more digging, and the theory is slowly falling apart. All of your information is very helpful to me. I'm digging through old records to find a more realistic idea of what happened. Sorry for all the confusion.

My relative’s daughter asked her about their family history. She decided to look on an website to find out her real family tree to answer her daughter’s question. But when she looked, it connected two different names to her. She had no idea who the George J was. She knew I liked to do research on specific people and things like that, so she asked me to help her out.

She may have just found an inaccurate family tree on the website. Many, if not most, posted family trees are wrong.
