I'm hoping some more seasoned sleuthers can help me out!
In looking at the county clerk's website for information on a particular case, I see that the plaintiff is listed as the state of Ohio. However, I know that these charges were filed because someone went to the police with information about a crime allegedly committed against them. So I am wondering why the victim of the crime would not be listed as the plaintiff, and if there is any other way y'all know of to find out who exactly it was that brought about these charges.
