How do you know that? I find that super intriguing! I have heard of homeless people/drifters sleeping in peoples boats, campers etc. This area is near a lot of waterways,(correct?), so maybe some boats in the yards in the area were used as crash pads? This is a totally random thought, but MK your post made me think of it as a possible angle.

This occurred after he moved out from living with his girlfriend in the yellow house which was two doors up from the demolished home. I wonder if the "stolen from homes around the neighborhood" is a euphemism for ripped off the two people (and their homes) whom he had lived with in the neighborhood?

This neighborhood, which is virtually crime free, had a rash of things taken from cars and yards in mid August. I was questioned about this 'Jersey' guy if I had seen him around shortly after that (several weeks before the baby was missing). Nobody that I am aware of on my end of the subdivision had seen him or knew who he was. People on that end did though. There are no recent B&E reports for the area Jersey lived in. There are very few reports located anywhere near Jeremy's home. Move the arrows on the following map and look 1.5 miles north of the river.

There is no proof on this site that anyone in Jeremy's immediate neighborhood recently had their home burglarized.

On google maps it does look like they have a camper in their yard, don't know how to bring the pic here. I also see an enclosed slide, I have heard of drifters sleeping in parks in the enclosed slide so they won't be detected. Wonder if they finger printed the slide.
Maybe I am getting a bit far fetched, but I am going with "anything's possible".

I find this disturbing! Was "Jersey" familiar with the family or the house?

Landlord - "he was supposed to be at a halfway house for a while and he hadn't reported into there and they were hunting him pretty hard because he had multiple charges I guess from Macaluso's and I guess he'd been stealing from there and breaking into homes around the neighborhoods and stuff like that is what they told me"

I realize it's not a direct quote from LE, but I believe this is where it came from + since I'd commented on it as well, thought I'd throw it out there.

Whew, thanks for the videos and info everybody! I think I am up to speed on the handyman thanks to you all....yep sounds like they need to talk to him at the very least. Glad we know that its all one guy and not a bunch of them. That makes it a little easier to follow. I sure hope he is just missing because he found some work somewhere and will contact LE and clear things up. The parole thing worries me though. Why wouldn't he check in?

Probably because he has violated conditions of his parole and would possibly be going to jail.

I'm not willing to dismiss this guy just yet. I know a lot of you, including NG think it's beyond far fetched that he be involved. I can't understand why..

Sounds like he's a roamer.. jobless, with a criminal history, houses were broken into and things missing suddenly a few months before. He's thrown from the bar for being an @ss.. He stayed in the house across the street...

What if... when he was asking around for jobs or how to get some money.. someone said.. snag me a little blonde blue eyed baby and i'll give ya $$$,$$$$. So suddenly baby is gone and so is jersey? Well sure, now he'd have money to go wherever he wants.

There are quite a few articles out there about child trafficking in the area. It's not so far fetched to me.
