neighbors being questioned about handyman

Someone asked on another thread earlier, "Who would drink wine from a box?" (referencing the grocery trip). Hmmm.

My MIL, a major booze lightweight, buys a box every two weeks (white Zin or blush). She says it is economical :) She has a glass of wine (or two) every evening.

I'm not a huge fan of box wine but I drink it on occasion at thanksgiving at her house, beats the beer the boys are all drinking ;)

ETA Besides, I am thinking if the bike riding backpack wearing possibly homeless handyman is hangin at the local biker bar, he probably is not a box wine kinda guy.

Well, I need to correct myself of the price I quoted for a gallon of whiskey. I was thinking 1/2 gallon of rot gut...so, in best Emily Litella voice..."nevermind".

That Garrido guy liked little girls so it's possible this guy had the same sickness -- or for babies. Or he knew where he could sell her. I hope this did not happen, though.

One of Garrido's victims was a 25 year old woman; he held her captive in a storage unit and repeatedly raped her. Garrido is an equal opportunity criminal/sick pup. IMHO

Handy man is supposedly in his 20's...video guy appears to be in his 20's. :waitasec:

But msm reports the store guy is a neighbor, so...I don't know. My head aches now. :banghead:

The man in video has been seen with DB and JI. The video guy appears to have brown hair. The handyman guy is described by neighbors in articles (begging you not to ask for link here cause I am just preparing to log off here) as being blonde.

I do not think the men are the same man but would bet money that until LE had identified him they probably did look closely at the video and photo of the two men to determine that they were not one and the same.

*Hands you some Advil*

OT Good to see you MK, hope all has been well with you.

You're probably right. I was just thinking someone who needs a gallon of whiskey might not be too picky about their libations if they're low on dough and need a fix. Just wondered if there might've been a wine-for-work swap (a completely innocent one, even).

I don't see a connection between that guy and this crime at the moment. For that matter, I haven't heard anything yet that makes me think the parents harmed Lisa, either. The only thing that points toward them right now seems to be the statistical probabilities (not sure if mom actually failed LDT or if LE told her she did to try to get more info).

*sheepishly takes advil*

Okay...whatevs...he obviously dyed his hair so as not to be recognized.

*swallows advil, and considers giving up and going to bed*

(Good to see you too, Darlin'!)

I'm guessing LE knows who this man is...they just don't know where he is. Apparently LE has a picture of him and how did they obtain said picture? I'm guessing from a mug shot.
The man has strolled down the street with a gallon of whiskey, he is homeless, he was kicked out of a bar for being too drunk, and he was staying at or near the abandoned house that was destroyed. I absolutely can't imagine LE is not familiar with this man. kwim

Because I find the gallon of whiskey fascinating, (I cannot imagine lugging that around in your arms), I just googled liquor stores for the area. As you can imagine, there are a few, some interesting names too.

The top on on the google page has a pdf weekly sale ad, kind of cool, our stores cannot advertise, you just have to go to find out. I thought the prices quite low, no gallons listed this week, but given the variety of stores, I am certain they are relatively inexpensive for the bottom rail brands. Here is the pdf, even beer and wine are much less expensive than it is here.

I wonder why they don't release the picture of "Jersey". Seems like that would help but I guess if he is not a POI they won't do that. Frustrating.

Liquor is sold in grocery and convenience stores here. Much closer for lugging on a bike. Dont know about gallons though. But if this witness doesn't drink it could have maybe been a 1/2 gallon or such and she just saw a big container.

LE thinks it is important enough to show some local residents Jersey's picture and ask them questions about him, I would think it is important enough to ask any resident or local patron to come forward who thinks they may have relevant information.

LE could still exhibit this man's photo or likeless as a potential witness to the case, if they really need to find him. If indeed he is homeless, he may not know about the kidnapping and could be useful to LE if he had lingered about the neighborhood. I don't know why they wouldn't circulate his image widely, at least locally. Have the locals here on the board seen it?

I don't think this "Jersey" person has anything to do with Lisa being Gone.
I am having a hard time thinking a dude that goes around carrying a BIG jug of whiskey, gets kicked out of bars from being drunk, mode of transpo is a bike could be quiet enough to pull this off. I think his name has came up as somebody that people have noticed hasn't been around for a while and LE is doing their job of tracking him down to ask questions.

True, he may have no idea as he would have no television, radio, or internet activity.

Yes, he could have seen just any little thing that could be helpful. I know the neighborhood I live in has the local homeless guy that does odd jobs for cash. He knows everything that happens in the 'hood and everyone's business! If you need to know, you just talk to him.

I agree

well that tells me this guy might also know everything in this neighborhood also..knows when is a good time to go into someones house..a drunk can walk thru a front door without much trouble, and if he has a criminal record , hes experienced possibly, and what if he wasnt drunk that night ,,its possible his hang out spot was offlimits to him at that time. And I would have a real big problem with someone roaming my neighborhood that was drinking and just hanging out..I cant see how this is legal ..I would be calling police alot..
