I don't think JB is smart enuff to get all that together. I think it is AL who is behind it. She wouldn't let JB mess up any more motions. She knows what she has in JB.

Wonder if LP did sign something for JB. I don't think the Judge will let this stuff go thru. Maybe LP and bunch but not TM.

I don't think LP signed anything. If he did he sure wouldn't have been talking on Nancy Grace every night for fear of legal repercussions. At least I would think that would be the case.

If the Judge does allow this, would the names be made public ? This is one of the most idiotic things Jose and Co. have done. As if he doesn't have enough people to throw under the bus already...I can only pray that the good judge says no to the defense on this. I can't imagine how mad TM must be right now.

Here is the Orginial Thread started about the 1st motion that Baez filed earlier! Maybe a mod could merge this thread with the earlier one! TIA

Nejame Files Motion to Strike for TES

or this one
M. Nejame is now Attorney for TES
Miller’s Florida based lawyer, M. Nejame said he is reviewing that motion. He added that he could be filing his own motion in court early next week.

Not sure if any of these apply to this thread, but at least they will be available for your reference to them!

If they try to do this, Searchfortruth, they'll need to get a whole fleet of buses!! :steamed:

I'm so confused. I thought Judge Strickland had already denied Baez's request for the TES search records months ago. JS said he did not have any jurisdiction in Texas and that Baez could try to get the info some other way just not through a FL court. Anybody else remember this? What am I missing here?

O.M.G.

This just INFURIATES me!!!!

Are they looking for more candidates to fling under the karma bus that is so surely headed in the perps direction? Do they think if they throw enough bodies under it that it wont reach her???

I am just SOOOOOOO glad JB is as good at lawyerin' as he is. ;)

I remember that the Judge and MN complained about the lack of specificity in his motion the last time. I guess, since he wasn't outright denied, he gets the chance to file another motion on this issue. If someone else remembers differently, please share...I'm not 100% positive that this is right...but, it is what I thought happened.

So from these latest revelations, I gather that they may be going with these defenses:

-Searchers missed the body, therefore, the body was not there and
-the state's forensic evidence (welcome, Ms. Baden) is shotty, so even if they say the body had been there since June, they could be wrong
-Someone either assisted KC or SODDI and moved the body there later-Perhaps conveniently during the time KC was in jail or under surveillance....

Or they are just fishing...hoping to find ANYTHING they can use.

Maybe somebody is assisting Baez with his motions now. IIRC, AL has students chomping at the bit to do her legwork and research.

Anyone else remember the movie Reversal of Fortune where Alan Dershowitz's brilliant Harvard students assisted him in defending Claude Von Bulow?

Today's motions consisted of over 100 pages.

Wonder if JW's name will appear on any list.

ETA: I don't know why, but THIS is really p*ssing me off. I hope the State requests all the PIs records because once upon a time they were REALLY close to finding Caylee. Actually, if my memory serves me right they went out looking for her with a stick!

This really angers me too! People who volunteer, and there were thousands of them, shouldn't be subjected to this kind of scrutiny just because a desperate defense team is trying to build a defense.

IIRC, Tim Miller retained Mark Nejame some months ago when the subject of the TES searchers was first brought up by JB.

If at first you don't succeed..........

This is disgusting. :furious:

Or.......they will try and say that the SOD inserted himself/herself in the search teams.....But how they would explain Caylee being found so close to the house.....

What slime.......

I think allowing this would set a very bad precedent.

How many will volunteer for searches in the future, if they know their personal information is not protected?

I agree! People volunteer for these searches out of the goodness of their heart and should be subject to their information being made public, or used by a defense.

I agree. I don't think Judge S is going to grant this. I could be wrong, but it seems like as others said, it would set a terrible precedent. I think Judge S would want to avoid it. What do you legal pro WSers think?

We'd better put up the WS signal for Friday!! She's probably hoppin' mad right now. Plus, I miss her post's.

Oh I'm sure she'll blow into this thread just a cussin'..(WS cussin' that is...lol)
I miss Friday too.

Seriously though this is just ridiculous. How far reaching is the evil in KC...apparently pretty far if innocent people who give so generously of their time to search for someone else's loved one are dragged into court.

I'm hoping Judge Strickland rips JB a new one this time and this motion goes no further than the last motion he filed on this issue.

On the day that Caylee's remains were found, Tim Miller was at the scene and stated that the place that Caylee was found was underwater at the time of his first search. By the time of the second search there was still water in that area. They tried searching that area but when they almost lost an ATV quit searching there.

Looks like the defense has nothing.....zip. Reeks of desperation to me. JB is on the same road......road to nowhere. JMO

Where will the A Crew stop! TM is here in my state searching for a missing 72 year old woman. Bless him.

He does such wonderful work and he does it from his heart. My prayers are with him and all the fantastic volunteers that do this all so selflessly.

The A crew makes me sick.
