Go to CNN HLN right now. Having MN on right now. Talking about the presser and the blow to the defense dream team...

Thank you, LittleBitty. Caught it. I believe I heard Mark say George is still distraught, and wondering what happened to his granddaughter. Did anyone else catch that for verification? TIA.

This trial is not going to be pretty.
They should put an end to this spectacle...it just does no good to keep tarnishing Caylee's memory.

CNN HLN had a second segment after this commercial break. The host spoke to TM, MN and Drew P...apparently JB gave GA some "faulty" or "bad" information about what the presser was going to be about. MN saying he doesn't fault GA. Said GA breaking into the presser was a little shocking but that GA got bad information from JB and that he (MN) and GA hugged after he, GA and BC met for about half an hour.
Said GA is going through a lot. There is no playbook for how to deal with this. You can't go to school and learn how to deal with this.
CNN HLN is saying that the whole (when was Caylee's body place where she was found) defense strategy is when the remains were placed where they were found.
Drew P is on and talking about the delays in the trial and why the defense wants them. Saying new attorney...AL...too much research, work to do. When will the fraud trial take place? There is a right to a speedy trial...so the Judge is going to have to make some big decisions tomorrow.

Ah, I want to see this video. Yes, George has proved once again that he cannot control his temper. Who does he think he is barging in like that? This case has given them even bigger egos than they had before.
I wouldn't feel safe being around the A's when they lose control of themselves. I'd be too afraid of being thrown through glass, or being chased with a bat or hammer.

If you cannot function in our society, then perhaps you should not be a part of it. How much longer will the authorities let the A's get away with this behaviour? If I ever feel the need to obstruct justice, assault someone, impersonate an officer...etc... I guess FL is the place to go to get away with it.

Their misguided anger is getting tiresome. How about taking it out on the one who caused all this trouble in the first place. Hello? Casey?
Oh wait, It's okay to lie, cheat, steal, and murder in the A household. Lets give the beautiful princess mother of the year a pat on the back.

Sigh.
This sure isn't going to help in his job hunt. He did say he was looking for work, didn't he?

Apparently, they are saying GA received "bad info" from JB.
:waitasec:
Why do I believe that?!?:saythat:

If George is this aggressive now against someone saying something that might hurt his daughter's defense, what's he going to be like at the trial!
What was he like when Casey came home without Caylee?

Thank you, LittleBitty. Caught it. I believe I heard Mark say George is still distraught, and wondering what happened to his granddaughter. Did anyone else catch that for verification? TIA.

Oh please.. they know exactly what happened to Caylee.

"We lost her george"
"What have you done?"
"I was saying inside my heart, please don't let this be my Caylee"
They just happened to look under the playhouse at their own residency.. and pointed out suspicious spots in the ground to authorities.

But yea, they have no idea. Gimmie a break.

Casey Anthony case: Casey Anthony's father barges into news conference
Casey Anthony's father, George Anthony, demanded to speak with an attorney who represents a volunteer search group.

Casey Anthony's father barged into a news conference today and demanded to speak with an attorney who represents a volunteer search group that looked for his granddaughter last year.

George Anthony spoke to attorney Mark NeJame behind closed doors for several minutes until Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, showed up and joined them.

About 30 minutes later, the three emerged, appearing calm.

George Anthony's daughter, Casey, 23, is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie, last year. The toddler's remains were found in a woods less than a mile from her family home.

George Anthony said he received a call from his daughter's defense attorney, Jose Baez, about the news conference and photos of the wooded area back in November -- a month before the remains were found.

There was a misunderstanding and everything had been resolved, Anthony said.

Neither Anthony nor NeJame would say would the misunderstanding was about.

Jose Baez's spokeswoman, Marti Mackenzie, said the defense team did contact George Anthony and his attorney about the news conference.

"He and the defense team felt the press conference and the release of the photos were improper," she said. The Anthonys may want to let their opinion be known, she said.

NeJame, an attorney for a volunteer search group that looked for Caylee last year, was holding the news conference at his Orlando law office.

NeJame was offering more details on behalf his client, Texas EquuSearch.

The land where Caylee's remains were found -- a vacant property a short walk from where she lived with her mother and grandparents -- was underwater last year, NeJame's office said in statement to reporters and in a letter to the State Attorney's Office before the news conference started.

NeJame's office also released aerial photos showing the property in east Orange County was underwater while searchers were looking for Caylee.

"This seems to clearly contradict any claims that the area was dry previous to Caylee's discovery and the likelihood that Caylee was later brought to that location,'' NeJame's office said in a statement.

Caylee's remains were not found until Dec. 11 -- long after the water receded -- after getting a tip from an Orange County meter-reader.

Meanwhile, Casey Anthony's defense has made another request for information from prosecutors.

In a 90-page motion and corresponding exhibits filed today, defense lawyers Linda Kenney Baden, Andrea D. Lyon and Baez said they want law-enforcement communications with the FBI, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and various experts including a botanist and entomologist.

Defense attorneys requested information in the first-degree murder case against Casey Anthony in March and they have not received the material, the motion said.

AAHHH so it was JB that lit the flames that got this pot to boil over.

TSK TSK TSK JB :tsktsk:...it's obvious by this move that JB has no working relationship with a truly high profile Central Florida attornery as Mr NeJame is.

Not for nothing, and with all due respect to this family, but there's the right way and the wrong way to handle this...playbook or no playbook. They need to focus on healing themselves...nothing is going to keep the truth from getting out. I have always hoped they would seek out professional help to get them through this all. They are in no way prepared to help others unless they help themselves, IMO.

ETA: and I 100% agree with you, Reagan!

GA want a balloon for taking that shot in the arse? It seems GA was used by JB for this very purpose of stirring a pot that is ready to boil if turned a notch. GA was used and allowed this manipulation. GA it appers should tread lightly while walking in the middle of these lawyers. Someones might misconstrue his volital behavior as the source covering up for the guilty daughter. I would love to hear the conversation between JB and GA now. Hopefully MN & BC let GA know he was played like a fiddle.

Not that TM needed it, but I am glad that they put an end to the speculation that Caylee could have been found sooner. We had Friday here confirm the water to us ages ago, but not everyone reads here. Now...and thanks George 'cause you sure got this put out there...everyone will know how bad that area was back in November.

<<snipped>>

Bolded above by me.

Now this puts a whole new 'added' spin on the A's for me. I was of the impression the A's were not impressed with JB.... but could it be that the defense has worked out with the A's to purposely pull these dramatic & crazy media grabbing episodes?? You know to like garner some loose sympathy for KC's upbringing? (since I really don't think they have much to work with) Just wondering if anyone else thinks this could be a possibility? I find the whole thing odd.

I recently came to the realization there may be something logical to all their "illogic". I think they've been prodded repeatedly.

OR, they make themselves look like screwballs who are capable of.....????

Is there a bus heading thier way? JB doesn't have to care who goes under that bus.....all he needs is doubt for the jury.

Just like I've been saying (well, we all have)...the As call more attention to this case than anyone else!

Exactly, but ..... they do more harm -- the complete opposite of what they intended.

This action by George hits the headlines big-time and washes away anything good done previously, like a new attitude and re-baptism. Not only that but, his temper, the family's mutual anger and temper and extreme assertive control --- makes it highly plausible that KC likewise lost her temper and killed Caylee in the subconscious of the public -- they are so extreme -- despite any other evidence.

In terms of polluting the subconscious of the future jury pool, the A's are ensuring KC's fate 110% and taking themselves over the cliff with her.

(My bold above.) Yup, I've said it before here (and been shot down for it) all the Anthony's exhibit poor impulse control. IOW, Think -----> Act. ETA: Lee, not as much as the others, but he does also at times. IMO.

BBM
Which makes, IMO, what Baez did, calling GA, and say whatever he said which resulted in GA's blood pressure skyrocketing :steamed: and barging into another lawyers presser :argue: was wrong and unprofessional.

IMO Baez :slap: should have never gotten GA involved, this presser was being conducted by another (highly respected and experienced) lawyer.

G&C have a lawyer and it was Conway who Baez should have telephoned and voiced his concern since he was not willing to call NeJame himself. :twocents:
