But the day is never specified as Monday, it was Halloween, they didn't say, "we were supposed to have friends over on Halloween night" but they cancelled. Does that mean they didn't even have a bonfire then? or did they have the bonfire anyway with just SA and the kids?

Call me close-minded or whatever.... but I think that anything that was said around that February/March time is not reliable, there may be some truths in them, but anything that changed from the first interviews I find to be very suspect. It is clear to me that by February, LE was pushing HARD to get the story they wanted. After seeing what they did to Brendan, I can't take anything that LE took as a statement as truth. But that is JMO

You know, here in my community if Halloween falls on a weekday typically trick-or-treating occurs the Friday or Saturday prior. Maybe everyone is remembering what they did on Halloween and thinking about the wrong damn day in regards to the fire.

There is just wayyyyy too many people involved with this case that really really really should seek some mental health counseling....why would the prosecutor in August of 2015 be sending a letter to SA? The only thing I could think of was that SA was sending him letters.

Let's add to the weirdness....his office is in Superior WI and the letter was mailed from St. Paul MN....185 miles from Superior according to Google Maps. I would suspect the local post office would have stamped it also if it went from Superior to St Paul and then out for delivery?? I don't know.

Most sane attorneys wouldn't respond to a letter from the person they sent to prison. He probably knew MaM would be airing soon and was trying to get something out of Avery he could try to use against him. Or, maybe Kratz was offering him his legal services. He does seem to be an idiot like that.

is that the norm though?
Where I live... kids trick or treat on the 31st, no matter what... which includes -20C (-4F according to google) or colder weather LOL Also... with them being in the country, how much do they go house to house?

TH did have younger siblings though, so did she have anything planned with them? I have a 23 yr old who doesn't live here any more and she still plans and hangs out with her brothers all the time especially holidays (if you consider halloween as a holiday lol)

According to her ex Teresa had plans to go out dressed as a cowgirl with her family on Sunday night.

The New Yorker got it so wrong: said sweat on battery cable not planted . You're right bc there is no DNA in sweat.

Is that correct? No DNA in sweat? But, DNA on cells from genitals I would assume?

Blaine Dassey went out on 10/31 from 5:20-9:30 with his buddy to chaperone a couple of trick-or-treaters. I grew up in a rural area and we always trick-or-treated on Halloween night regardless of whether it was a school night. Parents or neighbors always drove us from house to house when distances were too far to walk.

She would have been better off saying no DNA on the battery cable because there wasn't any found there. As for the rest, I just assumed your sweat contains your DNA. I thought that was the premise of Touch DNA. I thought the oils of your skin shed DNA but I could be wrong. Maybe the DNA that is shed comes from skin cells.

Has anyone else seen Zellner's latest tweet? She is raising the stakes significantly! It reads "Kratz letter: My client will never admit guilt, but so appreciate you sending your DNA on envelope. #MakingAMurderer." with a pic of the envelope included.

Is she saying she thinks Kratz did it??

It's posted on here somewhere.

Heck they could have confiscated his clothing he was wearing that week to check for blood and used the armpit part of dirty clothing to open it instead of gloves.

the post about the tweets have moved over to the "SA has new representation" thread
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...p-Brendan-Dassey-get-new-representation/page5

I have seen that post about RH Jaiddie, it was posted shortly after the documentary came out, and has since been deleted by the user on reddit, so I'm not sure what to think of that. If it's true.... the guy should be looked at more closely in regards to TH.

The Avery family had plans to meet at the cabin, the weekend after TH went missing--I wonder if anyone has read--when the family planned to return home?

I am sorry if I am posting things that have already been posted, but this is the first time I had heard these. They are phone conversation's between LE at the time of the investigation.

According to the first video on there from Nov. 4, SA's was NOT the last time TH was seen alive...their timeline at this point is: 1. Spiggle (spelling) 2. Avery's 3. Zipperer. Also it is stated that a woman saw TH pulled over on the side of a road taking a picture of a cow. This case just get stranger and stranger the more I read and hear. :( One more thing I found interesting was the reason that there was bad beef between MSCD and the coroner who was ultimately "walled off" from the crime scene, and who resigned from there shortly after the Avery case. She had been called to a scene where a young boy was hit by a car, and when the sheriffs dept. responded, one of the deputy's accidently ran over the body. They told her to leave that part out of her report but she refused. I also think this is the incident that SA refers to in his letter to the news department.

I don't remember exactly where I had read this to include the link here, but I have seen it discussed on several threads on other sites.

http://www.postcrescent.com/story/n...ery-dassey-evidence-remains-storage/79005566/

Manitowoc County Clerk of Courts Lynn Zigmunt said 501 pieces of evidence were marked as exhibits during the Avery trial. They include photographs, video and audio recordings, diagrams, phone records and tangible items like the key to Halbach's sport utility vehicle. They also include biological items like Halbach's bones and a vial of Avery's blood that was central to the case.

All DNA evidence and larger items like Halbach's SUV are in the custody of the Calumet County Sheriff's Department, the investigative and arresting agency.

Thought this was interesting.

As a mother, it makes me sad to know TH's remains are sitting in a box in the Manitowoc County Clerks office, whether SA did this or someone else did.

Just thought of something...if whoever put the car where it was was bleeding....let's say it is SA for arguments sake, wouldn't that person be bleeding when they placed the items around and on top of the TH's vehicle? Would there not be DNA or blood on those?
