First of all, really sorry about your dog. As you can tell from my name and avatar, I'm a dog lover too! It's truly awful to lose a pet, especially when you are kind of expected to just go on, as if they weren't a family member.

Sexual assault is still quite troubling, but wondering about the circumstances. I thought I remember it being his daughters or a family member? I can't imagine that to be true if his daughter is right there with him in that interview. I'm thinking I remember something about it being an accusation and not an arrest or something or it was something that was accused during a divorce or something? I dunno. I may have my cases mixed up again!

Thanks so much! Yea, last few days have been hard...today was really hard.

Yes, I do agree sexual assault is troubling. I could be wrong "foggy" head today--but I believe I read she has a sexual assault way back in the 80's--and then during a divorce she put a camera to videotape kids in the bathroom or something like that....it might have been in the 2005 thread....

He's creepy to me! I don't know...next to SA's burn pit was that burned seat..I found a picture with a red seat in EA's garage (someone pointed it out to me that it was EA's and not SA's.) IMO, I think he was either in on it--or is the perp.

uhmmm how funny is that LOL we did have them :)

BCA... I'm sorry to hear about your dog :(

I have 2 weiner dogs.... the kids insist I love the dogs more than them! It's not easy losing a pet... I promise to be nice to you tonight :)

LOL...thanks so much Missy!! Hard day for sure!

Was not surprise that you and Mystic had those dispatch calls! You too are die-hard sleuthers!

:grouphug:

I want BCA's input after listening!

I am very honored! Thank you!

I promise to post my input--I have to work tomorrow so I can't stay up all night! So, I promise to listen to them tomorrow after work!

So sorry for your loss. I've lost a buddy so I know how rough it is. Wishing you only happy thoughts. :praying:

Oh...you guys are going to make me cry again....thank you so much!! It is going to be awful lonely without her. I have family who I love dearly--but the love from a dog is a special kind of love!

Thought I would post this. It is a Memo from the Attorney General regarding the 1st case--for SA's exoneration.

faxed us her report - Isthmus

Sorry--I don't know how to attach a website that has a .pdf....you'll have to put the "faxed us her report - Isthmus in your search engine.

Also found this interesting, might be worth looking into since someone posted the reddit theory about the link between Kusche and Zipperers.

I happened to have noticed Sue Kusche's daughter is named Wendy--but it doesn't have a last name....I wondered if it was the Wendy that signed the search warrant.

Vergean would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Aurora Bat Care Medical Center in Green Bay and Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. She would also like to thank all of the church family at Faith Church, especially Pastor Jeremy Vance, Pastor Pat Hanson and his mother, Florence, Derek Stevenson, Cassie Grimm, Jeff Babcock, Jill Houle, Bob and Evelyn Krejie, Paul Liermann, John and Nina Bastian, Kim and Don Rauens, Sue Kusche and her daughters, Angela and Wendy, Mike and Lynn Babcock for their music ministry. They entertained the entire 3rd floor at the Aurora Medical Center.

Wish I could see more....

Isn't Fallon one of the special prosecutors? Weigert and Kusche are tied together?? I can't remember--wasn't Weigert and Colburn tied together? Did all these people know each other or were friendly with each other from way back in 1955???

I thought you had to work tomorrow? LOL

I was looking at that reddit thread yesterday.... it's a clusteryouknowwhat! LOL I do not think that Kusche is still alive or was still alive up until a few years ago... howeverrrrrrr I do find it very odd that apparently he died the day after it was reported in the news about the vial of blood found by the defense in evidence, and the day before the trial. I am not sure when he retired, but I don't think he was around in 2005-2007. I am not sure where that came from.... it might have been the book, the Innocent Killer by Michael Griesbach. In the book I think he also said he died from a heart attack but it was kept really quiet around that time.

All the names, and all the relations ... it's really hard to sort out LOL

Yes, I'm going to bed right now.....Good Nite!

Didn't someone say Weigert trained under Lenk or something like that? I may have the names confused--but nonetheless--if these families all knew each other and their kids grew up together---then yes---there is a chance SA was framed and evidence was planted. You guys might get me over to the other side of the fence after all...LOL

One thing I find sad is how many people just take LE and the media as 'Gospel'. So many complained that MAM was biased and slanted, well so are most news accounts.

Agree 100%. I've seen the media get facts incorrect in many cases. It's why articles, press conferences, documentaries, etc are not used in the courtroom to determine if someone is guilty and any impaneled jury is admonished every day not to read, talk about, research, or allow anyone else to talk to them about the case. The only evidence they are to consider is that which is presented to them in the courtroom. That's not perfect either, but no one has come up with a better system.

BigCityAccountant,

Just read your post about losing your pup. My deepest condolences. Pet lovers know the pain and grief of that loss. I was inconsolable for a long time after losing my beloved golden. I hope each day gets a little easier and you continue to feel the love of your puppy around you.

Good Morning all!

1 post before work today!

If LE did in fact plant the key and TH's DNA--that would mean they had access to TH's DNA. Why not plant her DNA all over SA's trailer--why leave the jury with reasonable doubt? Why not make it an iron-clad case?

Also, does anyone know if EA's house was ever searched?

Lastly--EA stated he didn't see the car there Friday afternoon (Nov 4th) when they were shooting rabbits. Since the car was found the following morning, that would mean it had to be planted that night. We do know that the Avery's were up early, since they left for Crivitz at 6:00am on Saturday morning--at least SA and his mother. When was it that SA and EA saw the lights, again? Anybody?

The only DNA of TH's that was found in the garage/trailer was the bullet. It was months later. They didn't need to plant that, the lab analyst was incompetent enough to contaminate that sample on her own IMO I know it was her control that was contaminated, but that is why a control is done... if at any time that control is contaminated, it brings in the possibility that the sample was contaminated too. I would like to know what else she was testing in this case that same day/time. She deviated from protocol to put TH in that garage, it was the only thing that had her DNA.

I find it very probable that someone else was responsible for the murder, and in combination with LE, it pointed at SA. I think it's more than probable that it could have been someone that lived on that property, and LE just helped the evidence point at SA. Because TH was burned, they didn't have her DNA to put into his trailer.

I don't know if Earls home was searched... He doesn't live on the property does he? The search warrant only covered that property. I think the shooting of the rabbits was on the Monday too. But I have read that either EA, CA, SA or a combination said that they would have noticed that vehicle sitting there during the week and they didn't (unless of course you think it was one of them, they woulnd't point it out to the others LOL)

Ditto Madeleine. So sorry for your loss BCA. I have a 13 year old mutt that I make sure I love extra hard on every day. Hugs all around.

Also, side note, but I'm a baby when it comes to my sleep so every morning I catch up on the threads with my coffee and all of you guys are really great. I love the sleuthing, the conversations, and the open minds that are required for this case. Any time I want to add something, I wake up to see its already been covered. Whether I agree or disagree I always find myself saying "well said" How do you guys not get as confused as I do with all the info?! Keep up the great work and I'll be over here drinking my coffee and reading! :) :)

Why was any of her testimony allowed? I'll never understand that because that test seems to be a big point for a lot of people. All DNA testing should also be blind. Those testing shouldn't know who or what they are looking for. If they are guided to a specific wanted result that's a flag right there.

Right, they wouldn't necessarily incriminate themselves! I tend to believe that somebody in the family is responsible... I can't convince myself that LE would know to put bones in a firepit and a burn bin.. I'd think they'd plant just in the firepit. I'm sure it's been explored before.. that maybe she was accidentally killed on the property and a cover up ensued but some stuff just doesn't make sense with that either. But I think the general evidence pointed to the family and LE helped narrow it down. JMO

Now the theory you guys were discussing last night is fascinating but i have to read more about it before I even dare comment!
