Who gave Kratz and crew information about the car being in the Avery Salvage yard ? Might that be related to the headlights/taillights spotted by Chuck and SA on Thursday 11/3 ?

I think this is before they released PS and daughters name. That was their tip the searchers who found the vehicle. See them finding that vehicle gave them permission to get that warrant. That is why I think they put it on his lot. They needed something big to be found by searchers. So lets hide it here like none of the other cars and call it concealed.

RH the one I think did the deed, Sent pam in that direction. I think he was the one telling the reporter they found it in the gravel pit where he left it in the quarry. I don't think RH knew it was gonna be found in the Avery lot but near by, in a gravel pit, Which is why he initially pointed his finger right at Avery that first night she was reported missing. I saw a post on reddit, talking about the wind turbines they were putting up or wanting to put up around the Salvage Yard.... pretty sure that is what these are, the base of the turbines.

Thanks Missy ! Sometimes my personal life gets in the way of my obsession ... :sigh:

A new trial may be the best Zellner can do, unless she can produce a total exculpation of SA via new evidence.

Nice to have you back again too!!!

No obsession here, nope nobody here:crazy:...move along everyone....LOL :giggle::silly::floorlaugh:

OH my gosh---I hate them--they have them in IN---they go on for miles and miles and miles along the expressway---I call it windmill Hxxx. Makes me dizzy to drive through there!

Well I found this and thought it was kind of odd and wondered what it means. This is the log for the night of 11-5-2005 when they found the car. As you will see there is Sgt. Colborn that signed in at 5:12pm and he don't seem to sign out. An hour later there is another Colborn signing in. Do you think this is him? or do you think he had a relation on the force? Possibly a woman, The woman that was in the background when he found the car on Nov 3, 2005?

Not only the above.... but if he parked it there on Monday, he had no idea it would take 3 friggen days to report her missing by family/friends. He had 3 days to "get rid of it" and didn't.

Chuck and Brendan left on Friday to go to the cabin...per SA's interview with Marinette County....

OCD.....I'm still trying to nail down who would have been at that property when the family went to Crivitz...I just read that Chuck lived alone, but was staying at his daughters house....(which also means no one was living close the the crusher all week long) So who would have been at the property at night from Oct. 31st - Nov 5th???

So lets suppose dad left on Thursday like he always does. Mom left Saturday morning with Steve and Bryan, Chuck and Brendan left Friday, so that leaves Barb, BoD and ST and Earl there for the weekend. I don't think I missed anyone? So, if SA had planned to get rid of TH's car over the weekend--there really would only be a few family members on the property and most likely none of them would think twice about SA down in the pit crushing cars.

I don't make anything of that---it could be that he ran back to his car for something or it could be the LE was walking around writing down who was at the scene.

I Think I figured it out. See Jacobs on the list. He didn't sign out either, when he signed in a few moments before Colborn signs back in. Jacobs thought to stick in where he left squeezed in between two names at the top there. So the question is where were all these men disappearing to that they walked out without being seen, and had to sign back in? Lenk who didnt sign in at all, but signs out. You have Jacobs whose fitting in his out time to cover himself, badly. and Colborn who just signs back in does not think to squeeze in the time when he left.

I wonder if mom and dad saw that huge fire that night--looks like they would have been able to see it from the back of their house....also anyone know what the other building is that I circled?

Does anyone know what time it was when they made their first entry to the Avery property areas and not just the back of the lot where the car was on the 5th. I remember hearing something about the times within the testimony. Think it was Kucharski. I will go back and find out. My shows are on. I'm trying to do something normal give my head a break. Haha don't seem to be working.

If you read that Chuck was at his daughters, my guess is, that was the week that LE was on the property and had control of it. He lived in his house otherwise and was there the week of the 31st-5th. (or 4th when he left)

As for that weekend in Crivitz... it was a planned weekend, it wasn't like SA just decided to go. IIRC that is why they went to Menard's on Thursday night... to get wood or tin roof or something like that. It was planned. IMO And ultimately, he did go... he didn't stay back to get deal with the car.

They didn't do a very good job of signing in and out did they? And if you aren't signing out, why not? they were not supposed to leave the area without signing in or out... not difficult... unless you are MCSD I guess.

Do you mean responding to Sturms call? or when the search warrant was issued and Wiegert got back?

I actually think that the circle on the left is probably Charles' house.... the other circle.... I can't tell what that is, building or just cars in the distance? This picture is a bit deceptive LOL I had to bring up the aerial image to orientate myself. I believe the parents house would be behind the blue building (and another one we don't see) off to the left out of the picture.

Like even though they found the Rav4, They still had to get a warrant, to remove it, and then to enter the properties. The most they could do until then is rope it off and make sure no one was touching the piece of evidence. So what time was the warrant signed I guess. And didn't they sign in and out of the properties as they searched. How would they have know each search took 2 hours or that one 1 hour etc?

And by the way... Look at the warrants the one for the 7th wasnt even for his property. The warrants only last 48 hours, I was reading wisconsin state laws. They are issued and need to be Excuted and Returned with in 5 days. And they only have 48 hours from excuting the warrant they have 48 hours to return the warrant. All with in five days. The warrants confuse me.

Earl would have been running the yard on Saturday 11/5 if everyone else was gone. IIRC, it was Earl that gave the search party permission to look around in the salvage yard.

Assuming no one else in the Avery clan knew about the car, SA would have been hard pressed to find any time to crush the RAV4. Also, there would have been a lot more crusher prep needed on the RAV4 besides removing the battery cables, i.e. fuel tank removed, fluids drained, airbags removed, etc. How would SA have done all that without being seen ?

This is the issue I am having with the RAV4.... if it really was him... there had to be a better hiding spot... he grew up in the area, hiding it where it was.... just doesn't make sense.

Zellner quote innocence.PNG

This is what Zellner has said about why she thinks he is innocent. The link to the video is in the media links thread I think. I took the screenshots of her comments.

I have lost a lot of faith in Zellner. I was a fan of hers because of Ryan Ferguson. But it seems to me she's gotten swept up in the media hype.

If she's so focused on saving the innocent then why did she abandon Charles Erickson after the Ferguson media attention died down.

Sad, but it's no accident that she showed up for this case as well. Representing Avery will get her a LOT of money completely unrelated to the legal aspects of the case.

What about Chuck, Zellner? I thought you only represented innocent people?
