New Airline Rules

Here's the thing, in my humble opinion...

9/11 wasn't some blockbuster Hollywood movie we saw on the big screen of our local cinemas.

It was a day of multiple terrorist attacks, played out on the world stage- of the United States.

The blood was real, the crashes were real, the lives lost had been real people- living, loving, breathing, hoping, dreaming people. The devastation was not only real, but history changing.

In the eyes of Al-Qaeda, the attacks were a HUGE success. In their minds, and towards their goals, the terrorists were successful beyond their wildest dreams.

In their eyes, 9/11 was just the beginning.

My first thought was this guy was the practice guy. What is worrisome is what if they have 50 terrorist all trying to get on different planes on the same day. If only 10 of them make it and only 5 of the are successful that is still beyond devastating.

You know, you can make yourself crazy thinking about what could happen.
I completely agree with your words that I bolded above.

As for the last sentence, left un-bolded, I think we could make ourselves even more crazy, at some future date, by thinking about all the things we could have done to prevent an attack- but, didn't.
