Texas issued a new plate in 2009 with more color. The one posted here would have been most common in 2010. The background of the Texas plate has a light bluish tint, and looks very different to me.

Personally, even with all of the special issue plates around, I can distininguish an out of state plate immediately, even if I'm not sure which state it's from. If the witness was not local to Texas or Lousiana, and thus unfamiliar with both state's plates, the mistake becomes easier to understand. I don't know if that's the case, however.

Yes Bessie, we don't know the age of the witness or other details. Here is a link of photos for 2010 tags for TX. Very confusing, imo.

But the most important thing, imo, is that ali's case & her investigation has been taken out of the moldy basement of cold case files and has been reactivated & rejuvenated giving her family hope of bringing her home & justice..

if i wasnt moving two houses into one next week i would absolutely be there.... im thinking he was subp twice bc he will have to be a witness to both while pleading guilty. i however am not a lawyer.

The fact that the witness saw a lot of zeroes mostly ruled out a Texas plate, as four of the six characters on the TX plate are letters, vs. one, for LA.

i am catching up, still 5 pages behind, so I don't know what y'all are talking about the moment.

I apologize if y'all are in a serious discussion, but this was too funny in reference to last night's egret white ellipses in the trees with prisms discussion

good one, houdat

Thanks so much for your pilgrimage to Pinseclair. I agree that it is very unlikely she would ever have been found here. I think BSL probably did camouflage the site with leaves and limbs, etc., not sure about the piece of tarp. It seems LE would have taken it if it was related to MS.

It appears that LE excavated an area of about 4-5 feet x at least 10 feet, using the missing flyers of MS (assuming the flyers were printed on 8-1/2 x 11-inch paper) as a scale. Does this right to you IMPondering?

You're welcome!

I would think 5 X 7 would be a better estimate.

IMPondering, on Google Maps, there is an indentation, if you will, in the trees about 100 feet past the main cemetery entrance. Is this where the other road goes in? And does the second road/entrance connect to the roads that go through the fields? Just trying to get the lay of the land, so to speak.

Do y'all remember on the day MS was found, that LE-PIO Mouton was speaking with various media outlets and he talked about a road that went around back of the cemetery. This seems to me what he was describing. I just thought at that time there was a not very well-traveled "loop" around the cemetery that we couldn't see because of the tree cover.

No, it's not the indention, but the road that runs through the fields. It leads back toward the graves. I don't remember Mouton's mention of the road, but I believe this is the one that was marked with crime scene tape.

Would it be possible that BSL will change his plea tomorrow, which will free him up to come to TX and show us where Ali is.

On that point I could not agree more. You have no idea.

I've read some of the discussion on this graveyard, and visited it yesterday. It is three miles west of the intersection of Hiway 10 & 13. The roads are mostly rice fields and sugarcane, lush from the rain we've been having. There were more snowy egrets in one tree than I've ever seen, and might explain the white dots on the pics.

The first forested/wooded area on the left contains Pinesclair. There is a road that runs down to the graves, a very short distance. This is the road with the stop sign and was marked with crime tape. Also, a little further down the hiway maybe 100 feet or so, is a second entry which parallels the first. There is not a stop sign here, and it does not go into the graveyard, but runs adjacent to the woods, mostly open fields. This was also marked with crime tape.

I believe BSL/🤬🤬🤬 drove down the second one to the site where he buried Mickey. He placed her in the woods on the left. He could pull his truck up and not been seen from the road or graveyard. There is evidence of a path, not sure if police/BSL/both.

I have taken several pictures and will share. The one posted earlier showed the wreath on a stand marking the entry to Pinesclair from Hiway 10. As mentioned earlier, you drive a short distance and the graves are on the right. Right past the graves, there seems to be an open area, that is not where she was buried.

Look at the picture and you'll see a tree in the middle of the picture, right over the flower pot. The path is to the left of the tree. It is not a well traveled path, even with the police and others going through there, it is barely visible. It takes you into the woods, and if you went straight about 15 feet, you'd run into the other road/path/open area, where I think 🤬🤬🤬 parked his FWT.

But, you do not go straight, but turn to the left and about 25 feet over is where he buried Mickey.

this exlains how the photographers were on the OTHER side of CSI. i figured there had to have been another route to get to the same spot, but i couldn't find it from google Earth

I also agree. I think it would be easy to not notice what state license plate. You want that number 1st and then the state would be secondary. The number is long enough to try to remember to get so you might not notice the state part in a split second.

Memories are funny things. Years and years ago two guys in a van tried to push us off the road. I made sure to remember most of the license plate number but my husband thought it was a white van and I thought it was a brown or mustard colored van. And I never even gave it a second thought to notice what state the plate was from.

Seeing that grave brought tears of anger and sadness both to my eyes. You imagine it but until you actually see it, it's not the same. Is it possible that the police would dig deeper down and farther out just to make sure they aren't missing anything and the grave itself wasn't that large? I'm thinking since there were so many rumors of other victims buried, maybe?:twocents:

I am glad they are not releasing a great deal of information about tomorrow. When they dealt that bombshell about Lisa Pate, I loved it. Too many people still think that BSL is not guilty in that area from what I have read on other forums. Keep those cards close to the vest LE. I wish we could see BSL's face when they present the witness, if they do tomorrow. I want to see him crap his pants.

http://www.theind.com/news/11195-will-lavergne-take-the-stand-friday

KATC points out that Lavergne has a sister in Montgomery County, Texas, which is just north of Harris County (our sources say his sister is a key witness in the Shunick case and has been very cooperative).

I saw that. I even pondered several pages back if maybe she was the family member that ratted him out, when the report was released that he was visiting at her house when his truck was "stolen."

Just glad to see it in print. Lots of the comments here have indicated she was an accomplice.

Having said that, if this "source" is the same one that revealed a "plea deal" then I'm inclined to believe it...
