I was under the impression that it was the police or anonymous tips that were calling in and stating that it was Madeleine. Have the McCann's themselves actually come out and stated that they believe so and so is responsible? Or are they just following police leads?
There is so much misinformation and outright bs surrounding this case. There are precious few "leads" generated by LE because the McCanns stopped cooperating, very early on.
What is undisputed is -
The McCanns insisted Madeleine was abducted, from the very first second;
The McCanns furnished themselves with a PR staff led by one Clarence Mitchell, previously a Government advisor on media;
This person as a representative of the McCanns has pointed the finger publicly at the following "suspects" (this is by no means a complete list) -
Pimple Man
Creepy Man
Raymond Hewlett
Robert Murat
A NZ woman who looked like Posh Spice
A family in Mexico who had a daughter who vaguely resembled Madeleine - this accusation has been repeated against families in Holland, New Zealand, Sweden, a new one every year in fact;
All while refusing to stage a recreation of that night which is essentially the only way for LE to identify who was where, when.
You have a lot of reading to do...there will be someone along in a minute who will claim that the above is all totally normal and explainable so you need to NOT rely on postings at WS for accurate answers.
I call Madeleine the UK Jonbenet....so much wrong, so many layers of spin and lies and innuendo and covering up, you can really find any msm article you want to support any theory you have.
I suggest "The Truth of the Lie" as a beginning, and the McCanns have also published and filmed quite a bit so you can hear the discrepancies from their own mouths.
