I haven't watched any video of Caylee that you all say is so adorable (which I don't doubt) -- except for the one at the nursing home with her great grandfather, but every single still photo of her screams: I'm doomed. I swear, I have never seen such a sad, knowing, defeatist look in a baby's eyes before.

Also, I've come to the conclusion that CA is not defending KC so vigorously because she wants to protect her, as I used to think, but that she refuses to be the mother of a murderer.

She's a known LIAR & she tells this to a guy she hardly knows..That makes me seriously doubt it's true.

I'm inclined to agree and figure it was one of her feel sorry for me stories. I could be wrong but I tend not to believe one thing that comes out of her mouth - esp when it's something she says to one of the guys she's trying to suck the life out of...

I don't think that is what was meant.... I think the "her" was a typo... and that it really meant that was trying to pressure KC into having sex with him... that was the context of the paragraph.

Isn't it interesting that the great grandmother wanted to press charges but relented? I think that's pretty radical -- think of a grandma pressing charges! There must've been a long and horrible history way before the two check stealing incidents. Most grandma's would never seriously threaten to call the cops on a grandchild unless it was something more serious.

I dunno. It just seems pretty intense when I think of it. Hinky meter.
