New England Serial Killer Speculation Thread

The body was first seen as just a suitcase since mid-February, no one thought it was suspicious because it was left next to a garbage can. The bus stop is unmarked.

More info here:
I saw the remains at the Groton cemetery were found in march but dropped off in mid Feb.
40-60 years old, light pigmented skin, with a shorter/wider stature like that of Turners syndrome.

Obviously the remains were good enough to tell light pigmented skin. My guess is that the death was shortly before being put in the suitcase for disposal. Say early to mid Feb.

I have checked missing in CT, possible matches for descriptions and nothing matching really for the previous months before that in Namus. I noticed many of the missing recently listed have been found since then- not getting a lot of updates I see

Going to look through surrounding states next but doubt I will find anything the PD haven't already

About a month after the discovery of human remains in the city outside the Col. Ledyard Cemetery on March 19, law enforcement was able to identify the deceased woman as Suzanne Wormser, 58, of Groton.

On Friday, Groton City Police Chief David Burton announced the arrest of 68-year-old Groton resident Donald Coffel in connection to Wormser's death.
The couple lived together in a home on Allen Street, where an investigation has been ongoing for more than a week. Burton described the murder as a "targeted event."

I was just telling someone that out of all 8 bodies found, that this one stood out as different for sure. This one was found in a public place, inside a suitcase. All of the others have been found in wooded or secluded areas and not left in public. The perp behaved different here for this one and I felt it was not connected

Michele Romano, may have been a little way off 95 in the area of 88 Plainfield Pike, but this is West of Warwick where she lived, And Warwick has 95 running straight through.
Her family has said she was not killed by a sk, and would appreciate any speculation about her being linked to one please stop

While local police and a private investigator work to discover what happened to Michele, the Romanos were stunned to see that same image from the flyers posted to Facebook groups dedicated to catching a serial killer a few weeks following the discovery of her remains. “Take my sister Michele’s name and pictures off of this effing website right now. She was not killed by a serial killer,” wrote her sister Valerie on one such page. Seeing her sister’s face posted alongside fevered theorizing was jarring and upsetting. While Valerie declined to comment via Malloy, Malloy emphasized this sentiment on a call with Rolling Stone. “[Valerie] told me yesterday, ‘The rumors going around do nothing but torture us all over again. We can’t even grieve. It’s only been two weeks since she’s been found, and we still have a long road ahead, because we don’t even have her body to bury her.’”

He said the same rumors are swirling around his investigation into a report of a suspicious man at Bluff Point State Park on April 3.

Here’s a portion of the call reporting that incident to the Groton Police Department.

I went back around. Turned the other way,” said the caller. “He went back the other way and then he started like walking back as I turned around to walk back to the car.”

“What I heard on our phone call initially was remarkedly different from what we saw posted over the weekend last weekend,” Fusaro said.

In that Facebook post, the caller said the man pulled out a switchblade knife.

Good God, I guess not many used that bus stop or someone would have smelled it. How tragic, poor woman.

OMG it was connected to that Allen St. warrant raid that happened on the 17th!

I think the New Haven victim is a very different case too. The locking of her door and climbing out the window. Her son did say she had started seeing someone too.

The body in Killingsly has been reported as a woman, I see you have man there.
Unless there's multiple sets of remains, they are male

What if this person(killer) is actually talking to these women on some sort of dating app? If the women are all about the same age group. The 3 that were found not far from where they were is giving me that vibe. Or there very well could be two(killers).
There is so much that I'm sure we all know is being left out.
I will say with certainty that the PD/Law enforcment agencies need to stop denying straight off the bat when most times you end up being wrong. They should be open to the idea and OPEN to communicate with other stations and such because everyone knows that they don't and usually that's the most crucial step in making certain links and connections to other cases.

My heart goes out to all the families and to the ones that have lost there lives to this.

Just some general questions I haven’t seen the answers to and I’m hoping will focus things a little at least for me.
-Where are these bodies being found? Out in the country, suburbs, sketchy parts of town, nice parts of town?
-Were any of these people’s disappearances ever investigated by LE at the time they went missing?
-are these truly resort type towns like the headlines claim?
-do the victims live on the periphery of society, so to speak? Escorts, drug addicts, serious mental health issues?

All great questions with not many answers...that I can find. The woman from New Haven, her family talked to a news outlet in detail. Her son said his Mom had started dating. She went out and came home safe but then did a disappearing act one day by locking her bedroom door and climbing out the window on a cable wire. She has had known mental issues. Her phone tracked moving around a good distance away (30 miles) and then back again., with no mention that she had a vehicle.

The woman found in Foster, RI, her family is adamant she's not a victim of a serial killer. Sounds like they may have an idea who's responsible?

The victim found in the suitcase by the cemetary in Groton, her partner/boyfriend has been arrested in connect to her death, after a search warrant was served.

Most of the bodies have been by/in wooded areas but not all. The victim found in Norwalk could have floated down from Wilton, a much more rural town that I believe she was first reported missing from.

Since the State Police are stating there's nothing to tied them together in a serial fashion, I think it's just trying to search local news, even town wise to find info as it seems the CT-SP are not giving out much of the details they used to determine their stance on things.

I think police are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If they give more information, they risk the security of the case, and they give the internet slueths more details to twist and weave into a potentially false narrative, but if they don't give more information, that same crowd calls them secretive and they become adamant that they must be hiding something.

I think people need to just sit and wait for more information before they hop on tiktok and claim there's a serial killer

Unfortunately the decisions they make on what to say and not say could be harmful to the public.

8 Murders and 2 suspects known to the police .. leaves a lot of room for a repeat murderer ,either way ,one person murders the other 6 .or we have 8 people out here killing women.
We need more information for sure .
Neither scenario is good.
