New Interviews Planned in JonBenet Killing-Oct 3,2010

You deserve credit for that one, Dave. You have posted many times about Mary Lacy and her "agenda" and just about every IDI on this board has laughed it off. How can people continue to laugh it off? It would seem that IDI's cannot trust anything said by anyone that isn't pro-Ramsey.

I'd sure like to see them laugh now.

Test the darn CORD for goodness sake!!!!! Release the findings. THE CORD ...THE CORD!

.....heavy sigh.......

Hey Linda! All this new press is kinda making me think they may have tested that cord. I really do believe there is a lot going on that we have not been made aware of and I know most are not getting their hopes up, but not me. My hopes are very high that JonBenet may finally get to rest in peace.

IMO This case can never be closed. It will remain a cold case forever. It just isn't prosecutable. :banghead:

If they tested the cord, why not release the findings? Gloves weren't worn when the "garrot" was made & the cord tied and therefore it would yield matching DNA.

So....in my mind.....either there is zero interest in finding out definitively, or it was tested and it doesn't contain anything but Ramsey DNA.

UK Guy,

Those interviews may yield something.

Chrishope,

They probably will. Who knows someones involvement might be signaled by the discovery of touch-dna on some of JonBenet's clothing or artifact such as the cord, or Burke's touch-dna on the pineapple bowl, tea-glass etc. This would need an explanation.

There is still sealed evidence we know nothing about still to be factored into any theory. Although some of the post-mortem photos have been available, the photos of JonBenet's internal injuries, outlining chronic and acute molestation remain sealed.

For me these photos would, at a stroke, dispel any notion that JonBenet's death was anything other than a sexually motivated homicide.

How do we know gloves were not worn?
This isn't anything I have heard before.

Boulder investigators still receive tips in Ramsey case, 14 years later

But Garnett says others are ridiculous. He cites one inmate who writes him from prison on a regular basis, claiming he's solved the murder and if Garnett will just send $1,000 to the inmate's prison account, he'll reveal the killer.

"It's an enduring, epic mystery. Everybody would like to know who killed little JonBenet," said legal analyst Craig Silverman, who has covered the Ramsey case from the beginning.

But in spite of the tips and leads and theories that regularly pour into investigation, Garnett says there is really nothing new.

Silverman says lack of evidence was never the problem in the Ramsey case.

"There were never no clues. There were too many clues. It's a matter of putting them all together, putting the pieces into a puzzle that tells the truth about what happened Christmas, 1996," he said.
