I am really starting to think Haleigh died somewhere other then that trailer and she was not under the care of Misty at the time.

What makes you think that? just curious!

I am glad that Misty is trying to learn to read. Her dad seems to be really facing reality about what is in store for his kids. But then he is the adult and they are just kids. And they have led shallow, insular lives. At 18 I was working 2 jobs and involved in my first Presidential campaign (no it was NOT Roosevelt). Interesting that they have Misty on anti-depressants. She seems calmer to me.

When R gets home @ 3 am something he says..."Why did you let my daughter get stolen, biotch" or something to that effect. No one in their immediate right mind would assume a child was stolen. Misty flunks LDT, Ron knows why. End of story.

That's the reason for the quicky marriage, and the new tatoo. Misty is scared of Ron. Smart people wouldn't be, IMO.

Well, I wasn't doing all that at 18. I admire you, but I was out being what I consider a normal teenager - dating, going to dances, writing for the newspaper, going to keggers [yes, I confess], and going to college.

jmo - Illiteracy is a huge handicap with such a social stigma attached. When it's due to a learning disability rather than "defiance" or "laziness," I imagine it is very difficult to be very enthusiastic about school. It was probably a nightmare for both generations.

"Shallow" - I don't really like that descriptor. How many other parents of that age do we know who have managed to stay married all this time? They remained very close to their children. Who knows what they have had to conquer just to get where they were before Mr. Ronald came into their lives?

A member of my own family almost ended up in trouble with pain medicine after a very painful bout with the shingles. He has never used illicit drugs, doesn't even like taking his blood pressure medicine -- the only drugs he liked was Goody's Powders. But he was so amazed at how much better he felt after taking the Rx [dunno if hydro- or oxy-codone] that he could have very easily ended up "doctor shopping." [Fortunately, he's got a stronger constitution than most peeps.]

Sorry for the sermon, but I really do have some empathy for many of these people.

I don't know if any of you have been married and young to a narcisist, but I was at 19. Divorced at 23. I had to get out because one of us would have ended up dead if I didn't leave. I had 2 kids by then. Sweet Haliegh isn't M's child. Ron is a control freak. Misty an Ron are up to their eyeballs in guilty. Misty is covering. NG is full of poop love for Ron.

Me, too LF. we both have that Social work streak. By shallow I mean not going to dances, or writing for a newspaper (that's really cool) or thinking about the situation in Bosnia or will Harry Reid be re-elected. The usual crap we talk about here :) Stuff in the world.

Do they have a literacy program in that jail? They need one.

Shingles are supposed to be just horrible.

Kimster is going to beam me onto the Klingon prison planet (Rura Pentha) for being off topic so I am going to quietly slip away to another thread where she can't see me.

Having chewed on these tapes for a while now, it is absolutely amazing to me how easily Tommy can just tell windys one after another. Refering to the burglary, saying LE can't prove he did that. Kinda weird to see how easily he declares his innocence when we know Misty ratted on him when she got arrested and that Lindsy invited LE into the house to help search for the supposed gun and handed over things she knew were not theirs. Guess no one, neither Misty nor Lindsy have told him their part in these charges being leveled against him. Such a strange family. :D

Raisin, that's why I think Tommy is a dead end in the disappearance. He's a smuck that doesn't know ANYTHING. In my humble opinion.

I don't think he knows what happened to Haleigh either but for more reasons than that. I do however think he knows where Misty may have gone that evening. I find it interesting that there is a lawyer who is willing to take him on pro bono if he will take an LDT. At least that what I heard in these tapes today - dunno if it is true.

Reminder, the Nancy Grace complaint thread can be found here: Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

The placement of this post is at random.

Thank you, I'll be glad when tonight's is posted so I can watch what everyone is talking about.

I so appreciate Ms Patty's efforts at getting the videos posted. It costs her time and energy to do it and it is a great service for those of us without cable tv.

D**M OT again. I'm leaving. For real. Going to visit Adji's thread. poor little baby.

I have not listened to all of the tapes, but it is really pi$$ing me off that they release a "tape" and then a week or two later we hear more of the same tape....Why?

I've tried to find where to post this but this is what I could find tonight...I did listen to MC talking w/ her mom LC..and there are atleast two phones they are looking for and possibly three..and MC is really concerned about her pink camera..Tina (?) has these? What is on the camera and what about the phones?

Kimster, if this need to be moved to the appropriate thread please move..I am behind and lost.

At least Lindsy's grandparents have put some restrictions by not letting Lisa and HAnk Sr. move to the condo at Palm Coast with her. Things may look different to her when she's living on her own, being the sole support for those kids, and not listening to Tommy's "I love you's" and "I'm done with that stuff" for the billionth time.

I Think there is a little planning by Lindsy's family here. Getting her into a "condo" is brilliant. Chances are she had to pass a background check to live there. Her and the kids passed so if Tommy gets out he will not pass. Condo associations can be very picky about who they let in. So even if there is a chance Tommy got out he would not be welcome there and if her Grandpa owns it he may even have a restraining order taken out forbidding him and the whole Croslin clan away from being near the property. If it's gated that's even better.

Yes, and cigaretts, and she was going back to live with her mother and father and never leaving them again.

it all sounded so familiar...

that's right. just close your eyes ... and tap those ruby slippers together 3 times and say ... there's no place ...

I would say Misty is getting a little fed up with the "Witch" comments from TN. LOL LOL

 Looks like Misty got to watch some NG after all.

I don't mind the bonds breaking and the mud-slingin' but I msut say that I don't believe anything any of them say.

Where's Haleigh?

Tommy tells Lindsey he needs a "Real" cigarette, she said she needs a "Real" cigarette to. I wonder if he was referring to Pot? I sure hope not.

my uninformed guess is he has a nicotine patch, and she is smoking the cheap harsh cigarettes that are half the price of the quality smokes. moo

Misty saying the entire Cummings family does pills...

Pot, meet Kettle.

I'm a little ashamed how entertaining I'm finding this.

Tina is "Katrina" who is Hope's mother and tn's sister. Katrina was with misty when arrested but she drove away and apparently has misty's belongings.

Whisp, there are some of us guessing about * J and L *. MC did mention the last name of a person named John on her video provided by PattyG, thanks Patty for all you do.

It was mentioned on the jailhouse visit and there's a booking for someone by that name in the 3 year history. Not sure yet who it is. Anyone?

Don't know where to post this kimster - if there's a more appropriate thread, please let me know ~

I'd like to know what the game is with DCF - Misty mentions that they came and questioned her about her and Ronald's drug use; Misty claims she told them that, despite Ronald's drug use, he was a good father . Who cares what Misty's assessment of Ronald's parenting is!! Who cares what TN or GGS's opinion is of Ronald as a parent!! But, in typical DCF fashion, they look to and ask the co-abuser's (or the adult/child's past abusers, or those who abandoned the adult/child as a child...)opinion on whether or not a person is/was abusive - GMAB! And we wonder why children turn up dead?! Children will continue to turn up dead so long as DCF continues to look within these families themselves to provide a non-partial and/or honest analysis/reference of the one in questions' parenting. If DCF used their education/training and some basic common sense, they'd have a more likely chance of saving a child's life.

MOO~
