This is just a wild arse guess:

Leonard...Hank & Lisa...car...Misty's lawyer...book deal...Leonard...California...Leonard's money...Hank & Lisa...

Misty said "book about us". Sounded like a family affair to me. I tend to think Hank & Lisa can tell their story to Leonard if they like. Just like George & Cindy can tell their story to whoever they want for money money money ca-ca-ca-ching.

Shameless? Maybe so.

Although, in the case of Hank & Lisa, I'm looking forward to it a little. Hank needs a ghostwriter, is all. ;)

There ya go Emma. Are you volunteering?

notice it is alleged that Tommy went in one way and then out another....

snip~Type of Crime: RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Entry Methods: CUT/REMOVED SCREEN
PRIED/JIMMIED DOOR
Suspect's Actions: RANSACKED
Elements: VICTIM POSSIBLY KNOWS SUSPECTS
Point of Entry: GARAGE/PORCH
Point of Exit: SIDE WINDOW

Victim's Location: OUT OF TOWN~ end

above is from police incident report....I have always wondered why it was that the dogs trying to get a scent on Haleigh were LED out the back door.....who knew that was the direction Haleigh was taken in? IIRC Haleigh's sheets were taken out onto the ramp to allow the dogs to get a scent, but just because the door was propped open doesn't mean that is the exit. Might have been the point of entry....JMO

I doubt Tommy will say much of anything until he has a deal or at the very least an attorney. It's obvious he's trying to be very shrewd in what he says during the visits. From watching him, I don't think he's going to give up anything without something in return.

His blatant denials about the burglary gives him at least a chance in the eyes of the law. It's much better than saying "it depends on what proof they have against me" or whatever that ridiculous statement was that RC made to TN.

Deny, deny, deny is what TC is doing and until LE can prove the burglary, he's admitting nothing. Simple as that.

I agree. He may be dumb, but he isn't stupid. He's played on this court before- different game, but he still knows how it goes. And while it's ok if HE brings up Misty in a conversation, he doesn't seem to like it when someone else does. It just seems like simple jealousy to me- it's probably been going on since she was born. Momma and Daddy's little princess comes along, and Tommy gets a little less attention.

I talked to a family member last night who has been following this case on NG only and I was a little surprised with what they came away with last nights show and playing just the tapes.

They got the overall impression that Misty is just a kid who smokes pot, had a very poor upbringing that was playing house and taken advantage of. After watching the whole show they came away with the urge to send her money for stamps or honeybuns.

Dr. Fessel - everytime I watch any of these tapes, I take the approach that the person is innocent of anything having to do with Haleigh's disappearance. I try to hold that perspective through out the tape. I can understand how someone with that view point could reach the conclusion your family member reached, to a point.

Once Misty's temper flares, or her sarcastic vile words are uttered, the entire image changes however. One thing that has never changed is how Misty can play the innocent little girl, and demand things on the me me me basis. All I can seem to draw is just how much competition was Haleigh for what Misty wanted for herself ? Her egocentric view of life never changes and she has turned on Tommy, walked away from her parents, sold drugs, discarded friends and can seemingly invent stories at will if they will suit her purpose (i.e. the rose, now she has information for Cobra etc). She is a little girl but...she is much like a copper head just waiting to strike and will have no problem spewing venom to protect herself. JMO

According to this police report, Tommy's wife drops him in the grease, too. Although, the gun was never found. That's probably why Tommy isn't seemingly that worried too much about the theft incidence that he's been charged with. Stealing booze and toiletries won't get you much time.

if tommy was involved after the fact, who is he protecting?

how does lindsy know?

very hard to believe he'd protect Ron.

kinda hard to believe he'd protect Misty, the way she beats on him all day long. their relationship is so immature it's silly.

BTW, the tapes:
Misty waving madly to Austin … and Austin responding … which pissed Tommy off … now, THAT was interesting. (Misty’s genuine sadness and Tommy’s attitude about the interchange.)

I don't think Tommy would protect Ron. He might protect Misty, but if he has to choose between his wife and children, I think he will break.

So, either Tommy truly knows nothing;

Tommy is waiting for Misty to break and then he will corroborate her story; or

Tommy is involved up to his ears too.

Take your pick because I sure as heck don't know.

O/T: Btw, is there a thread on this new Prison Wives show? Why the h*ll should we care if the likes of Scott Peterson gets conjugal visits?

Ahaha, I see you behind the sofa Emma Peel.

So much for Tommy's theory of LE having no proof that he did the burglarizing of his neighbors homes....

snip~ On 22 January 2010, I responded back to the area of Tyler Street in hopes of the home owner or designee, at 111
Tyler Street, being able to positively identify any items stolen from the residence. Upon arrival, contact was
made with the key holder for 111 Tyler Street, Peg** H, who identified the toiletries, golf cart battery charger
and blender as belonging to the residence at 111 Tyler Street. The items were processed for latent prints and
signed over to Hayes, per the home owner,
Ka*** P.~ end

reading over the last few lines of the police report it seems as though LE might have some latent prints.....unless he was wearing gloves, in which case there wouldn't prints found...

Whew...i got half way thru this thread, and just decided to post my opinion, then go back and read the rest.Hope i am not repeating someone. But.....seems to me that someone was saying that Misty has now admitted that she had infact left the trailer the night Haleigh disappeared for a few minutes. I do believe that this is what Hank and Tommy were discussing. How Misty has lied and they know that this is not the truth. Perhaps this is what Hank Sr was stating to Misty on thier call , when he said to her "i dont know why you didnt come forward before"...Tommy and Hank discussed that Misty is trying to say something to help in....but by her stating she left the trailer for a few minutes...this may explain the DCF coming into the jail to now look into child endangerment charges...but by Misty saying this, just to somehow not make herself seem responsible, as she is putting herself out of the scene...and she is cooberating Tommy's story that Misty wasnt home...I am thinking this will infact be her ultimate demise not savior. She says she left...when? When did she return? How long was she gone? Where did she go? I dont think even Misty could work out a newly planned time line to appease the police one year later. This is MOO

Lone, I've been wondering about this. Could Hank have worked his own deal? I'll try to get Misty to talk for leniency on my case?

On the other hand, this man looks pretty whooped. He's a mess, his family is a mess and it looks like it's everything they can do just to keep their head above water.

I also think Hank knows that information about Haleigh is the ONLY thing big enough to get Misty, and possibly Tommy, out of trouble. Regardless of the reason, I hope he keeps it up. Her conversations with her father seem a little deeper than those with her mother.

I think Hank knows he has not set a good example for his kids, he and Lisa are just steps away from being on the street. However, if he is working on any deals with LE, I think it is for Misty and Tommy's sake, not his. That's JMO because with all of the players in this case and as pitiful as they are as parents, he is the most easy to like... Am I suffering from Stockholm's?

LOL Lorann, I'm asking myself the same question. Please don't tell me we're all being conned by Hank now!

Stoner-philosopher Hank cutting his own deal to fatherly-counsel the truth out of Misty & Tommy...?

naw. I don't want to beleive it.

I was thinking he's just doing it because that's the way Hank rolls.

At the moment, he seems to be our only humble and somewhat conciliatory character. We also know for certain he had nothing to do with Haleigh and is likely as in the dark as the rest of us.

Here's hoping he's for real, and can help us get Haleigh home.

IIRC, he actually mentions Haleigh's name with every conversation with those two monsters of his. He doesn't shy away. It's interesting. IMO

I CAN NOT take the head bobbing. I pray my teenage daughter never ever bobs her head to me like Misty. Im afraid I might slap her, like some kind of PostTraumaticStressDisorder thing..

Misty Croslin Cummings states she will prove to the world that she didn't have anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance... we can all kiss her @$$..

I have one thing to say to Misty Croslin Cummings...

Since you can prove you didn't, I suggest you start proving who did......And do it.. NOW...JMO

Why did Tommy finally break down and tell the police he went to the trailer?

It was throwing Misty under the bus and making him look suspect so I don't think he just let that out real easy.

Something that important I would think the LE would back up with a LDT.

That is strange....didn't we see these already?

Partially - on Mz. Nancy's show. There are some interesting tidbits Mz. nancy did not play though.

I think Lindsey really needs to get a spine. All the "I love yous" to Tommy sounds as if he could do anything to her and the children and she would still be parroting "I love you". She is definately a very dependent weak person. The fact that she brought little Austin to jail shows that he was brought along for Lindsey's emotional support. Her main man was in jail, so little Austin played the stand in. I hope that her grandfather can wise her up and make her grow up. IMO she is living in a dream world.

MC:" Get Cobra. You know he`ll get me out. I got some information that I`ll give to him if he gets me out." What in the world................
CC:" I know, but that`s why your lawyer`s scared. He doesn`t want -- he called me last night and he said, (*CC), I don`t want Cobra to get ahold of *MC because I think all`s he`s going to do is -- is interrogate the (EXPLETIVE DELETED) out of her, like he did Nene and throw her back in jail, he says. So I`m working on it."
MC: "My lawyer`s trying to get me out?"
CC:" Yes. He`s, like, I`m going to -- I want to get her out before Cobra can get her out. He`s, like, Because I don`t want Cobra to get her."

BBM. This makes me so mad. Girlfriend, we know that you ain't got any useful information that you're going to share, you're just trying to hoodwink Cobra into spending loads of money for you. Shame on you. However, if by any chance you were serious and you have some information about Haleigh, you need to have told that to LE a year ago and not save it until such time that you can benefit from it. :furious:

I am not sure where I read it but Ron and Misty were charged with both buying and selling. I figured the last transaction was a buy and that is why they arrested them right then since they were buying the drugs from an undercover officer and they could not let them leave with them. I don't think we have ever seen the last warrants released on that final bust.

Makes me wonder if Katrina could have been the money person in that transaction.
