I’m Daisy, and I’ve been a silent follower of Websleuths for years before finally joining. As someone who’s been fascinated by unresolved mysteries since the Disappearance of Maura Murray first caught my attention, I’m excited to contribute to discussions and learn from this knowledgeable community.

My background:

• True crime researcher & armchair detective for 10+ years
• Special interest in missing persons cases and pre-2000s cold cases
• Experience with public records searches and timeline analysis

Why I’m here:

• To collaborate on case analysis (especially Doe Network unidentified cases)
• Improve my geolocation/OSINT skills
• Discuss ethical true crime consumption (a big passion of mine)

1. Your “pet case” – the one you can’t stop thinking about

My current pet cold case is Anna Slamcarski, Mauston, WI. Within a few months, it stopped getting coverage. I recently made her thread and it needs love!

Welcome, we have some shared interests and "time" in this work. My primary focus has pretty much always been - older cases - finding them in newspaper archives, etc - and low/no profile cases. My philosophy has always been if you don't know about them you can't help solve them and the high profile cases already have a lot of attention. Looking forward

Hello everyone! Although I'm new to the forum, I'm definitely not new to watching as much True Crime as I can. This forum has come up in many episodes that I've watched, so I thought I'd give it a run.

I'm hoping to contribute, even though I live in the boonies of Alabama. For now, I'm a lurker, learning the forum and seeing if a case or 2 jumps out at me.
