Is this site a true desert and if so wouldn't the body be in a more of mummified state?

Does anyone recall Mr. Cox making the trip when any of the other bodies that were suggested to possibly be Susan were discovered? I don't recall, which makes me believe that he obviously is starting to prepare himself for the real possibility that this could be her.

Heck, we don't need an expert to tell us josh is a big, fat, murdering liar! But it would be nice if he could tell whether joshie is nervous or not, right about now.

I can't see josh flying to utah to possibly get arrested. He knows its not where he hid susan and thinks this makes him look concerned.

Apparently, he may not be flying to Utah. The reports may be false.

Yeah, and it's right off some small road which is in between Simpson Springs Road and Highway 174. Not as remote as I first thought. Sounds promising.

Although zooming in shows it does appear to be in some elevation, which may be hard to reach in a snowstorm. Did he have chains with him? It looks very isolated but easy access between two major roads. Just the kind of place I would think someone would try to dump a body without being seen.

That would totally depend on the weather conditions, how the body was buried or wrapped, etc. I read about mummies in Peru, or wherever and some are in pristine condition but remains or mummies that have been exposed to the elements, are not. I think certain conditions are needed to mummify a body, not just desert conditions.

If JP goes to SLC I think it might be partly for appearances sake. But I also think the fact that Mr. Cox is going is coming into it. If JP is there he can immediately respond in the media to anything that Mr. Cox says. And I think that is the main reason he went.

The more I look at the map, the closer I zoom, in the more I'm liking this location. It is directly off a tiny road. Right next to it. In the middle of a desert area, between two major roads/highways.

But how they could ever find a body out there beats me. There are miles of little roads winding through there. How do they know where to stop and send dogs and teams out? He could have driven anywhere around there. Cars go fast!!!!

His sister said he is NOT on his way to Utah...I wonder if that was mis-reported, when in fact it was Susan's father who was actually flying in.

If JP had left the state of WA our media would know it and it would be widely reported- I think the information got twisted and someone misreported Mr Cox as being the husband rather than the father.

I was thinking a week or so ago that I couldn't believe it's been almost 2 years since Susan disappeared. I've been following the latest finding, and really hope it's Susan and that Josh P. is put where he belongs (IMHO)....jail.

I thought he flew in during a search in Spring '10, to show appreciation to LE/searchers and to speak w/media to further coverage of Susan's case.

I can't imagine him not being with his wife if he knew for sure.
