The newer addition.....exactly how new is new? A year, 2 years 10 years? Just newer then the previous structure or new as in recent I wonder........

JMO, but if you refer to the pic in AE's post #113, I believe that they are referring to the piece coming off the larger main barn. The base is cinder block. Judging by the looks of the roof (rusted), and the wood (similar to the barn wood in color), I would guess the addition has been there for some time. MOO

Was it definitely LE or just an LE-type vehicle, like a dark SUV?

I don't know for certain, but it was dark in colour, tinted windows and had several arials. Looked very much like an undercover vehicle. It pulled out in front of me and went in opposite direction. I didn't see the driver or notice if any passengers.

LE seen removing a 'stained plank of wood' from the barn

Meanwhile, Waterloo regional police officers at the scene brought a truckload of plywood sheeting about an inch thick, as well as pitchforks and fan rakes. They started taking hay out of the farm and had removed a stained plank of wood from the barn.

So it seems then that, what we saw the LE and investigators leaving with yesterday was not evidence.
I would think the vials or droppers might have been for them to test while searching to see if certain matter was blood or something like that.

It is my assumption / theory, that MS is spilling the beans or some of those witnesses on the PB are talking, possibly they didn't know DM was a murderer or caused harm to anyone, but certain stories or answers to questions by LE, may be allowing LE to put together a timeline of events and theories on what happened to LB.

Would they mix up ashes of a body in a haystack as some kind of sick joke?

On the one hand, it seems more logical to bury or otherwise disperse ashes if possible. On the other hand, we have no idea what went on in the barn at this time, and maybe they wanted to keep everything as interior as possible.

- a truckload of construction supplies including sheets of 1" plywood arrived
- DM "also now linked to LB's disappearance"
- taking loads of hay out on tarps (another report says they have cleared 1/2 dozen loads)

Anybody's guess ... DNA, decomp fluid, personal items (clothing, jewelry). Maybe the "new information" was forensic results ... DNA found in the incinerator, and a body may have been kept in the hay until the incinerator was brought to the farm.

IMO, while DM is exercising his rights to silence in his cell at the Barton Street jail, another search warrant is executed on his farm. We have yet to see any body bags or those ominous black cars arriving which indicates to me that human remains haven't been identified at this time. But then again, the day is young. MOO
