Does anyone know what the blue and white drum thing is at 50 seconds into the second video? I thought it looked like a water heater. Why remove a water heater? The cameraman was able to zoom in on the interior of the barn. Right at the end of the video you can see it again but only briefly. Strange place for a water heater. I can see having one in the milk house. Maybe they removed it from there. Also there was a yellowish drum from Monday's videos/pictures. I've heard of cases where victims were put into drums of acid. That was the first thing which came to my mind when I saw the yellow one Monday.

This is getting kind of scary now. Tomorrow will be day four and it has been stated the warrant has no expiry date or something similar to that. More than one victim? :O

Swedie, that's either a very strange place for a hot water heater, or a strange place for a pile of straw. From the stone walls, IMO, that's the livestock portion of the barn. I know from the barn I grew up with, the water pump and hot water tank were both right near the front door of the main part and not in the milk room. I think that was because the milk room got hosed down frequently. Makes sense to keep unsealed electrical equipment like a hot water heater in dryer areas. A pile of straw like that could be a result of someone sweeping out the barn-just shouldn't be that close to a water heater. JMHO

IMO the board just a red herring and has no significance at all.

Maybe because she was incinerated? She may have been kept in the barn (deceased) for a while until the incinerator was delivered. Deceased bodies do decay and leak fluids. How coincidental is it LB last cell phone contact with DM was July 3rd and sometime in July an incinerator was purchased through Millardair and delivered to the farmland. Too coincidental IMHO.

Which now leads me to believe DP will try and argue TB's deaths was accidental should direct evidence comes back pointing at finger at DM. Same if LB is discovered deceased. "He got scared and didn't know what to do with the bodies." Yay right on, BS. :moo:

That is indeed a water heater. I recognize the "John Wood" manufacturer's logo.
However, it is not clear to me that the forensic folk were trying to remove the water heater.

Given the wealth of photos, we can conclude that the barn has electricity, running water, heated water, and a complete septic system including internal pumps, sump wells, and a septic field.

Perhaps, the piece of equipment that some have guessed to be a drill press is actually a sump pump?

You can see the wheel for lowering and raising the spindle - I'm pretty sure that's a drill press.

A IMO, a drill press wouldn't be out of place in a barn. Could come in handing for pen construction, gate adjustments etc. I had a radial arm saw and a table saw stored in my barn :scared:

I MUST also say I find it interesting that one detective said we will stay here till our job is done and they have no limit of time for search warrant. It is linked here too as a detective saying " some evidence DOES NOT GO AWAY"!

* I am sure you are aware that TODAY IS Sept.12 and DM & MS both appear in court...IMO it shall just be a date set again...and they will be back.I saw DM lawyer >>>Parakar say that they do not expect trial until Summer of 2014...I am sure his paralegal wife <modsnip> MP is helping him.<modsnip>

All of that gear may have came with the property when it was purchased. He may have never used it.

As for why police returned to the farm this week after previously searching it for several days in June in connection with Babcock’s disappearance, Brown says officers have likely learned information pointing them in a new direction.
“They may have new evidence leading them toward something that could be very miniscule, such as DNA placed somewhere,” he says.

I clearly do not wish they find "death", but I sure hope they find what they are searching for.
