Ok, I had to attend a very important meeting on Saturday between two state university football teams. I stopped after the first Cindy video. I frankly can't remember much of what she said, other than it was just sort of rambling blech. I just picked up on the second one, and here are things that struck me:
at 11:40:17--Cindy is guiding the FBI on what they have to do even if they don't want to. "Um, so I think a clue there as a seasonal...I know you guys don't want to look on at clues or whatever, you're not putting on a jigsaw puzzle piece together but sometimes that's just what we have to do when we're trying to figure things out." Okay, Mrs. Anthony. Thank you for your help on how investigators trained by the US Government should handle "clues" and cases.
11:41 is where it got interesting--"there is a lanyard that is missing" and Cindy then goes into detail as to what it looks like. She describes items in the bag. And then....
11:42--"Casey never had an opportunity to go into that garage. Because as soon as I brought her home I followed her into the house, my son stayed with her while I was dialing the police. And the police kept her ever since, she was never out of their sight. So she never had opportunity to go into that garage. And it was over...we have an ice chest over by our washer and dryer in the garage because we don't have a laundry room, our garage. And I had it over there, because I had the bag and the babydoll that was in the back seat, in the, in the car seat, that I had taken out trying to air out the stench that was, that was in the car."
Au contraire, Mrs. Anthony: Your son's testimony directly indicates that he took Casey into the garage. I don't know why you have such a detail about one little lanyard missing. What's the deal here? Perhaps Casey lost that when Caylee went missing and you are attempting to set groundwork to suggest that someone else stole it. Quite curious, when you and George go into detail. It has become a key to unlocking what's really happened. "Lanyard cover story delivered. Check!"
11:44--Cindy reaches out to Amy. "She was the first person I reached out to when we found the car and I knew....." and then changes her words in the next breath to discuss having left Casey a message regarding her whereabouts.
Mrs. Anthony: when you picked up that car, WHAT did you know?
11:46--Cindy "lets Amy in" on what's going on. "Amy, I don't know where Casey is and I'm not sure Caylee is with her."
Mrs. Anthony: Oh reaaaaaaaaaally. Interesting that you would question that BEFORE you retrieve your daughter, whose communications with you over the past month suggested that she had her daughter with her constantly. Why would you wonder after you got that car back?
11:49--Cindy says Amy was the one who suggested Cindy stand back because Casey might not open the door if she knew Cindy was outside.
Mrs. Anthony, there isn't a mother alive who hasn't used this trick at least once with a child. Don't blame Amy for your sneakiness. Your disingenuous remarks about not knowing what was going on smells as much as the car. Here's an opportunity to demonstrate your desperate attempt to get your child and grandchild back and clear up a mystery, and you pretend you didn't hang back to sneak attack Casey when the door was opened. So why lie here? Why put it down to Amy holding you back to clear the field? Oh wait. Because you know sneakiness looks bad. 'k.
Toward the last minute of this is Cindy discussing why she didn't plow through that door and search high and low for Caylee. "It was full of smoke." is what Cindy uses as her reasoning for knowing Caylee isn't there. But she already suspected that Caylee wasn't with Casey in her phone conversation with Amy?
What did they know before Cindy went on that search for Casey and why would she doubt Caylee was with her mother before she even found them, and why would she not go into an apartment she's just learned her daughter has been staying in for awhile to look for her grandchild?
I'm off to watch the 3rd one. Talk amongst yourselves.
ETA: Oh dear. I'm only into the 3rd one 1 minute, and already I'm going "huh???" Cindy is discussing having "the girls" in the car on the ride to Amy's house, and they "WERE JUST CHITCHATTING ABOUT OTHER THINGS AND TRYING TO GET CASEY TO TELL" Cindy "stuff".......uh. Chitchat? Stuff?
Lawsy.
