I am stunned that the fact that they apparently never talked to Caylee about what she had done everyday. The child knew Zanny for years yet never talked about her????????????? HUGE RED FLAG! Yet CA missed that?

I don't doubt that despite all of the lies and stealing they believed Casey loved her daughter and trusted the child with her implicitly

IIRC, GA did and Caylee would give him a blank look.

FYI, part 2....or 6 is the best one yet. The dates Cindy gives for when Casey was supposedly out of town, don't jive with the gas cans being returned on the 24th or the car chase on the 29th. ETA: The agent comes back at Cindy around 15.25 mins.

Watching it with no sound gives you a totally different take on it. She tries the old seductive hair trick.......didn't work, he just sits there with his hands clasped. That throws her off balance, so then she tries the crossed leg around the desk routine and flipping the shoe.............that doesn't work, he crosses his arms. (totally non receptive) Then she reaches all the way across the desk as in taking control. He takes it back. He stands up. Very interesting from the video.

That's a good idea to watch it muted. I was trying to follow the body language, but by #2 my eyes were crossing. I noticed how she would bang on Amy's and Ricardo's pictures pretty much every time she referred to them, and a couple of times she was banging pretty hard.
There were also a couple of times she told FBIguy he could keep some document, and instead of picking it up and handing it to him, she pushed it across to him, like all the way across the table, it was weird to watch.

I guess the family feels "ambushed" about the release of the FBI tapes.

George and Cindy Anthony said they did not know they were being videotaped and had no idea the FBI interviews were being released until they watched local TV news.

Yeah right. big, fat, WHATEVER!

The Anthonys said this proves that investigators are not searching for Caylee, but instead are continuing to build a case against Casey Anthony.

As they should.

I noticed that too, Laine. Every time she referred to the pictures: point, point point, jab, jab jab. Made her look just as every bit as spiteful as her liar daughter.

Just some things I noticed that were absent in CA's interview.
Now if CA had been in touch with KC, believed KC was in Tampa
how did she borrow CA's car?
Why no mention of the gas cans?
No mention of pool ladder.
No mention of stealing money.
No mention of using credit cards.

odds and ends.
13:16 (part2 or 6) CA mentions a Cory...Who is this?
I didn't mark down which video this was from but Ca said that one of KC friends told LA that there was a JL...Hmmmm

I am confused-who is the Jeff that wanted to have Casey move in with him?

Ha ha, that would be the Jeff H. who worked at Universal who has a son named Zachary who was watched by Zanny, Jeff who introduced Casey to Zanny, but not the same one and only Jeff H. who worked at Universal whom the cops tracked down and questioned who does not have a son much less any children and has never heard of Zanny, nope, that was the WRONG Jeff H.
Man, can't these police get anything right?? (Sarcasm intended.)

Can someone/anyone who watches the video of CA filling out the questionnaire form about KC, please count how many times, she scratches her nose, or ear...during this part of the video. It is during the time the agents are out of the room for the most part and she is filling out the questions about kc.

TIA

Why oh why does CA buy into this cloak & dagger ...follow the clues...BS???

One thing is clear to me listening to these interviews CA is desperate to find a live caylee.

In the interview regarding picking up the car at the tow yard, they get the car, bring it home and Cindy tells George to go back to work, Cindy goes back to work for a couple of hours. NO mention of the smell in the car at the tow yard AT ALL!

No mention of violent confrontation on the night of June 15th either. I do believe the pool ladder was mentioned though.

Regarding Casey taking Cindy's car. No wonder Cindy didn't want GA to mention it, it screws up her whole Casey was in Tampa or Jacksonville story.

Cindy also admits that Casey's car was at Amscot from the 27th on. So that blows the story that Casey left her car in the A's driveway when she took Cindy's car.

When the agents leave, I wonder if they watch her from another room? I feel sometimes like I'm watching "Criminal Minds". The intent to profile this family was obvious. They would have figured that out and not said anything if they weren't so arrogant.

I remember reading an article at one point that when people touch their face while talking that is an indication of lying.

Yes I agree, I couldn't wait till they left the room, I was just sitting and watching, waiting for her to say something like hahaha yeah right, to one of the questions. I think they were watching her too, I know she rubbed/scratched her nose what seemed like a million times.

You're correct, CA did talk about the pool in the first part (1-5), but fails to mention it in her timeline of events.

Hmmm... huge problem here... please help me, sleuthers, because I'm stumped.

Most of the info here from the FBI interviews as well as the OCSO interviews. A little info from elsewhere such as Casey/Amy text messages. I've gone back to verify info and to answer some questions. I still have some questions. As I said though, I'm stumped!

George says:

* June 24 - Casey came to the house, he asked for the tool out of the trunk of her car, walked with Casey to the car, Casey took the gas cans out of the trunk and gave them to him. Question: did he ever say if Cindy was at the house that day?

* one day between June 24 and June 30 when the car was towed
- Casey called Cindy and asked to borrow her car. Cindy said yes.
- Casey came to the house, alone, in her car to pick up Cindy's car
- Cindy and George were home
- Cindy gave Casey the keys to her (Cindy's) car
- Casey drove off
- George said he was going to follow Casey. Cindy told George not to. George followed Casey anyway.
- Question: did George return home after losing Casey and giving up the chase?
- Casey came back, alone, left Cindy's car and picked up her own car.
- Casey did the car return/pick-up late afternoon or evening
- Question: why no mention from Cindy or George of the decomp smell from Casey's car?
- Question: what date did Casey begin mentioning the decomp smell to others? I know she mentioned on June 27 to Amy H that she had gotten rid of the smell.
- Did Cindy or George look in Casey's car that afternoon? George wanted very much to know what was going on with Casey, that's why he followed her that day. He had keys to Casey's car. Wouldn't the curiosity that prompted him to follow her also prompt him to open up Casey's car while it was in the driveway of their house and Casey was gone?

Cindy says:

- June 16 - Casey stayed at Zanny's
- June 17 - Casey stayed at Zanny's
- June 18 through July 3 - Casey was out of town

If Cindy's claims that Casey said she was out of town June 18 through July 3 are true, then George's claim about Casey borrowing Cindy's car and him chasing her and Cindy telling him not to chase her between June 24 and June 30 is one big fat lie. He remembers dates and details so well, but claims not to remember the date this happened except that it was *definitely* between June 24 and June 30. His voice/mannerisms are funny to me when he says he can't remember the exact date.

Question: what do the pings tell us about when this could have happened?

I think George is telling the truth about the incident because I can't think of a reason for him to make it up.

------- My theory (my opinion, my speculation): --------
Cindy didn't want George to tell LE or FBI about this incident. Why? Well, it looks to me that she's lying about the Casey out of town stories which she uses for her 'theories' that just happen to occur to her the night before she's going to meet with the FBI. And what's she doing with the FBI? Well, she couldn't convince OCSO that Casey had nothing to do with Caylee's murder, so she's desperately trying to convince the FBI that Casey had nothing to do with Caylee's murder by telling the FBI a big long winded tale of theories that all put Caylee out of town.

In other words, she doesn't believe her 'theories' and her 'clues' herself. She stayed up and concocted them specifically to try to throw the FBI (and later OCSO) off track with them. She just never expected George to throw her under the bus and tell anybody about Casey borrowing the car.

So now we have Cindy deliberately fabricating lies to tell the FBI and OCSO to cover up Casey murdering Caylee, and that, my friends, as you know, is obstruction of justice.

No wonder Cindy didn't to swear what she'd said was the truth in the OCSO interview!!!

--- End of my theory, opinion, speculation ----

(Just trying to make it crystal clear that I am not accusing anyone of anything, but simply presenting some of my thoughts in an effort to clarify this information for myself.)

Okay. So that's what's on my mind. What's up with all this? What are your thoughts/opinions? I can't figure this one out.

ETA: lol looks like others are already digging into this!

Do we have a date for the ladder up on the pool and the gate open? That date puts Cindy home and if I recall correctly, George was at work and Cindy called him and yelled at him for leaving the ladder up.

CA reminds me of a history teacher trying to educate a student in these interviews. She is constantly trying to control how much info and which info is discussed. She thinks referring to notebooks is authoritative and that writing down notes when the agent speaks will force him to be accurate. These men must have the patience of Job not to interrupt her monologues.
