Hi All!:grouphug:

This investigation is like that Ever Ready Battery - keeps goin' and goin'! At least jason knows that they're not giving up like he anticipated.

MM needs heavy duty therapy imo., and anyone else who associates with this Slayer and father who gives up primary custody of his only child.
Ole slayer underestimated LE didn't he? LOL!
Yes, MM and several other Slayer groupies need their brains examined!

Hi Chico!:)

As you can see, Sweetmop has set out the reasoning behind the term being used. I will gladly abide by your instructions but I would also add that I don't see any difference in that term or the term 'Convict' which we were allowed to use for Scott Peterson after he was convicted in a criminal court.

I see a big difference in using 'convict' for SP after he was convicted as you point out.

TY sweetmop for letting me know where the term originated.

Again, stick with names or initials.

The good news, primary custody of Cassidy has been ordered to be transferred to Meredith and the move to Raleigh to be phased in over time. In August Cassidy will be mostly in Raleigh with Meredith, She will attend school in Raleigh and will reside in Raleigh. Thats all good.

Hi, It is good news Charlie. I'm wondering if the powers that be are putting Cassidy first, getting her new custody established.

I wonder when that warrant was put out? Praise be that the State is still right in there, working their strategy to nail a double killer! xox

Good grief.

Going away now. This is too much. ("The Slayer" is legally what JLY is referred to, until he is convicted, if he ever is convicted.)

Yes, he is legally termed a slayer now in the State of NC. It is what it is.

Did anyone pm you the C.A.S. name? if not, I will.

Please don't go away.

And so C.A.S. was in Jason AND MICHELLE's home while Michelle was out of town. Lovely. Shows how much respect had for Michelle - just about 2 weeks before she was murdered. So he's got MM on the side, C.A.S. sneaking (assuming MY didn't know about CAS's visit) into her home 2 weeks before Michelle's murder. Good golly, Jason must have felt he was such a catch. (Yes, I gagged just a little typing it). All this leading up to his wife's murder. Probably was feeling pretty high and mighty, don't you think?

Oh, hello Deputy. I only had to "go away" in order to let the steam out of my vents due to the mod's request that we not use "the slayer" term, when we all know that is what the legal system refers to him (JLY) as.

Yes, I live here among the murders of Michelle Young and Nancy Cooper. I'm smack in the middle of it. But for some reason, C.A.S. isn't playing a tune in my mind. You may PM me, or give me a hint here.

C.A.S. would be the "stray" panty owner--correct?

Now that I know much more of JLY's behaviors, I'm surprised that Michelle would have another child with him. But, we don't know how that happened. Maybe she didn't plan that, you know? She could have and would have done so much better than JLY if she had lived, I believe.

I just pm'd her name to you.

However, I'm not a resident expert on her whole relationship with Jason. Others here will know more info - of which I'd also like to read the summary

We now know they've been friends since teenagers and he lied in email exchanges to her about his marital status.

Now...when did she find out he really was married? Why would she go visit him after finding out he was married to Michelle, and stay in their house?! :furious:

Is she in any way related to the summer 2007 girlfriend? I got lost ages ago with the gf, her sister who lives in a different state, etc. Where are are WS resident experts? help!

Hi Dear DeputyDawg, I have never seen a case that has taken sooooooo long to come to fruition. Especially after a civil court case has given a favorable decision to the plaintiff in the case.

Is there some court hearing due about now for this dweeb? The sooner the better, and it has taken way too long IMO.

I actually think he will be happy with prison life. He gave enough indications therof.

Spank me, I'm bad, and fed up with him not being charged.

I am very thankful for Cassidy tho, and I think with the same mothering and lifestyle now as her Mom had, she will grow up and be a true beauty in all ways, just like Michelle. xox

Miss Scandi! So good to "see" you!

This delay is frustrating, isn't it?
There are plenty of cases that take several years before an arrest, but I don't know of other cases where there's been such a civil case decision. There probably are a few.

Obviously, there are holes or openings that must be plugged in this criminal case, just to ensure that they'd get a conviction. However, it's reassuring to see that this is not a cold case - they are still working the case and they're STILL pinpointed on Jason.

For all his supporters, pfffffftttttt. If they were to step back, without emotion, they'd see where the circumstantial evidence is leading. No matter whether his #1 supporter or the "hired doctor" :slap: say "just wait and see," well, we've seen they're still on Jason's tail. It's not looking good for ol' Jason boy. He did it to himself. He'll pay the consequences.

IN case you all forgot - today is the hearing for judgement in the WDS ruling. The hearing is ongoing. Shellybeans has posted the WRAL link in the media thread. There is also a story at ABC7 in Raleigh.

Linda and Meredith Fisher have been on the stand, a representative from Progress Energy, and Detective Spivey shortly before lunch, to re-take the stand afterwords.

JY did not show up for this hearing as noted in the news links.

Interesting what has transpired so far. Detective Spivey does indeed believe Michelle's murder was pre-meditated.

Check it out - sorry I didn't put the links here - on the run !

What that animal JY did to Michelle was beyond heinous. There is no way Cassidy did not wake up and hear this , there is no way she did not know who murdered her Mommy. Absolutely sickening.

Hey RC! <Waves to everyone>

I've been reading MyNC ChrisC's Twitter updates and he posted the following about 20 min ago:

"Jason Young wrongful death compensation arguments are done...the judge has retired to make a decision. Should come back soon."

Looking at the newer warrants released last week, and this was probably known prior, I am amazed that he thought he could get away with this by wearing shoes that are too small. What must have been going through his mind when the police noted the blisters on his feet. And not blisters from rubbing on the back of his heel, but around his toes. Premeditation all of the way. I am sure that he gets more and more confident as the days, weeks, months pass without his being arrested. But I am sure, just like the Eric Miller case, he will be arrested eventually. Maybe he spends his free time listening to the Hell Awaits album - by the band, Slayer. (Sorry, poor joke)

Spivey testified Monday that the slaying was particularly brutal.
"(It was) the most severe physical beating I've ever seen someone encounter," he said. "This [was] pretty extreme, a pretty vicious attack that she underwent."
Spivey said that, based on the evidence he's collected in the case over the last 23 months, he believes Jason Young planned his wife's slaying. The evidence includes computer searches on Jason Young's computer for "head trauma" and "the anatomy for the rear part of the skull," Spivey said.
"That ties in with the nature of her death," he said. "In my opinion, (her death) was premeditated."
