Poor Michelle. How that woman suffered. It makes me sick. And for her mother and sister and friends to have to relive this over and over. I'm sure Spivey is as anxious for the DA to move forward as the Fishers are...2+ years and counting. Geez. IMHO this deserves the death penalty if ever a case did. Planned, especially vicious, cruel, involving a toddler...just horrific.

I didn't realize he had contact with MM so many times before the murder. I don't get that woman!!!! She's no Amber Frey, that's for sure because she continues to keep contact today!! I wonder if she's even followed the case! Probably not because she obviously had no respect for Michelle either.

As Sweet points out - I am glad names are starting to come out - although, I think I heard somewhere that one name won't come out until the trial. I would guess this person has fully cooperated with LE.

It sounds like he was a real abusive husband. It breaks my heart that Michelle was trapped in a marriage like that. Hi Jilly, I was a victim of DV and after he was arrested I went to DV counseling.

They said if a man abuses you while he is drinking, eventually he will abuse you when he is sober. I wish every girl could learn that.

It seems Jason became a sober domestic abuser sooner than most. I think he was evil at heart, frustrated subconsciously as he could have been a latent gay. It would have been beneath his dignity to admit that. I think of him naked at that party and that tells me he was a sicko!

Good post, jilly! Yes, JLY is scarey, that's for sure! Such a coward, and such a bully! Michelle lived a life of hell on this earth it seems. Always having to humor Jason, coddle Jason, and worry if he could take care of his little girl, or if that would make him mad doing so! Walking on egg shells all of the time, because she didn't want to set him off! Sounds like JLY is a bully, and has been one all of his life!
It is so sad to me that Michelle had to live like that, and sad too that she didn't get away from him before he killed her!

Hi folks. I remember reading that Jason and MMoney "got together" at Myrtle Beach, and I believe it was the summer of 2006...not sure...so his wife Michelle was still alive then. MAYBE Jason Young meant by the Myrtle [Beach] comment that he would go off with another woman again. Maybe Michelle Young knew about this. Or maybe JY was meaning the worst case scenario, that he would take out his anger on his pregnant wife, or both?

What makes me wonder is, why would someone as gainfully employed, educated with a master's degree, stay with someone like Jason Young (or marry him "just" because she was pregnant?). And most of all, it bothers me that she would keep trying to and succeed at, getting pregnant when the marriage was already failing. I wonder WHEN the abuse started for Michelle Young, by Jason? Michelle seemed like someone who could have gotten herself out of that situation, but I doubt she ever thought he'd beat her to death in her own bed, by god, with Cassie there to boot.

I know Scandi - he really is a "sicko". Booze seems to numb the anger and causes him to lose all inhibition. He becomes the perverted class clown. I'd really like to see a psychiatrist weigh in on him. Somebody obviously punished him severely or something when he was younger.

Yes he is a coward! Remember stories of him picking on weaker guys because he knew he could get away with it?
I can't imagine what his mother and sister K have had to deal with over the past 2 yrs. Maybe the basis for his mother's support is guilt. I wonder if K even talks to him anymore. He was full of attitude with that email we read.

I'm sorry Michelle had to live with this too. I see this with so many women though. They have a dream - husband, children & the happily ever after. Her parents were divorced and she was probably determined to make this work. My guess is that she was seeing the therapist for assistance because if she had given up she would have gone straight to a lawyer.

I remember reading something that they were at a hotel and Michelle got another room or something...Actually, I don't remember who kicked who out of the room. Not sure it was this trip or not.

Sounds like the guy can be quite the charmer with women. I mean MM has even said she hoped her last child was going to be jason's. She doesn't know how lucky she is to have her husband's genes in that child!
Remember - Michelle had just had a miscarriage. She must have been depressed about that. She might have thought she couldn't get pregnant so soon or it's highly possible jason coaxed her into it.

Without knowing what he meant by the Myrtle reference, it would scare me for CASSIDY- it sounds to me like a threat against the child! He said he could kill Michelle for not letting him finish the yardwork but he is blaming Cassidy for that- the power's out, she had an accident and wet the floor, and he doesn't have tv to keep her out of his hair. All parents can feel frustrated to some degree on the days you are trying to get something done and you can't keep the kids safely out of the way and occupied long enough to finish- but to go on to say you're taking the kid and a beer to the pool and the mother better HOPE the BEER kicks in????? I take that as a threat to Cassidy and it makes me seriously question how good this man is to cassidy when no one's looking, and that's that. At least now he won't need tv, as Meredith will have primary custody so he can do all the yardwork he wants to. :furious: And Cassidy was too young to be left alone in the house with tv as a babysitter while he was outside doing yardwork anyway unless she was secured in a playpen (not likely at her age) or babygated into a completely childproof room and checked in on frequently.

I got sick the one time I heard the 911 call because I heard "daddy did it", too.

Also one thing that bothers me...did Jason have this thing where he liked Meredith better than Michelle and threw that up in her face? Because in one of those warrants in am email to MM, he says Meredith is another "bigger" girl with a cool personality or something. I am not trying to speculate or start rumors, but is there a chance that JY got along better with MF than with his "nagging wife" and always threw that up in MY's face? What made him evidently so chummy with MF when he couldn't get along with MY aparently? I'm NOT suggesting anything about MF but I am wondering if JY ever put the moves on her too, being the known unfaithful person that he was- would MF loyalties lie with her sister in that respect?

It just bugs me how disprespectful JY AND MM were to MY. MM was an old sorority sister of MY's, right? She should have been loyal to MY and not messing with her husband. :furious::furious:
