New website for Lisa

Seriously...anyone who reads here for one day could figure out who is who and who defends who. It's not rocket science. Some of us are just comfortable with giving our opinion and others aren't. If one argues a point day after day, others will know what their opinion is. It is simple to me.

Now, back on topic - IF the website were to bring a conclusion to this case, that would be wonderful. However, it is my opinion that it is too little, too late.

When there is a missing child, I don't feel that any effort to find said child is too little or too late. That's why I applaud this new Find Lisa Irwin website.

When a child is said to be kidnapped, 5 months is WAY too little, it's too soon to know if it's too late. Time is of the essence, anyone knows that.

Always said that!!!

Haha! Yea four wisdom teeth coming in being compared to a baby teething is quite an inaccurate comparison to say the least.. haha! But if the overly dramatic is how it goes that's fine. . while others roll with atleast there's something positive for baby Lisa. And to each their own I certainly wouldn't want it any other way. Therefore this case can only be discussed here safely in very small doses my friends.. sad to say:(
Assuming you are referring to my post: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7695429&postcount=108"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - New website for Lisa[/ame]
?? I actually had a pediatrician tell me this. Why would teeth cutting through gums be any less painful for a baby? Do they overreact when they cry and gnaw on anything they can get their little hands on while cutting teeth? I've had wisdom teeth come in, and while I didn't writhe on the floor in pain, it drove me to distraction at times. Crying is the only way a baby knows to demonstrate pain - and when they are teething, and they have no clue what is happening, they whine and cry a lot. That was my point, she would have been very testy.

BEM: Following it in larger doses might bring a better understanding as to why some things are discussed and they might seem less "dramatic". Just a thought.

FYI: Wisdom Teeth
"Just as small children may experience discomfort (teething) when teeth erupt, so, too, can young adults."

Another:Baby Teething Symptoms
"Teething can be a very painful process for your little loved one. Often, as parents it is easier for us to focus on how our infant's teething affects us, such as disrupting our sleep, interrupting a peaceful day, or getting in the way of things we want to get done.

It is important to understand what your child is going through. Try to imagine what it would feel like if there were tiny knives under your gums pushing their way into your mouth - it probably would be kind of painful and irritating. It's that irritability that kicks off our list of 10 signs of a teething baby."
_______________

Lisa had FOUR teeth coming in at the same time, and at the risk of being overly dramatic, I'm going to guess she was very uncomfortable!

I like the suggestion given on "Find Lisa Irwin" that anyone who has a Facebook page to link this site to spread the word about Lisa Irwin.

The link to print a flyer is a useful tool also.

The Kansas City Crime Stoppers link is a great site for people to leave tips to help find Lisa.

re: grand jury

this gives a bit of info on the process but no schedule per se

http://www.mow.uscourts.gov/district/jury/grand_jury_service.html

but,

White said Tuesday that he could not discuss specifics of the case, but he said Clay County does not call special grand juries.
He said the county always has a grand jury meeting to consider matters,
such as the recent indictment of a Catholic
priest accused of possessing child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

Why are you giving a link to the federal courts for a state case that would be in Clay County?

i am from canada -- see upper right corner of this post.

if i got the wrong court -- sorry. just trying to help.

perhaps you can provide the correct link instead of the above?

You got the wrong court.

You already provided the information. Clay County has regular grand juries. But the prosecutor could elect to charge on his own. Doesn't have to be done initially through a grand jury. Can charge and then be superseded by an indictment. Or like in the case of Shon Pernice could be an indictment. Grand juries are secret in Missouri.

I think Jim Spellman's conversation with the spokesman for the Clay County prosecutor's office provided all the information needed.

You know what's funny about that....the 🤬🤬🤬 Lisa Irwin facebook hasn't been updated since October 10! Crazy, huh. There's no link there for the new website. I know Nina found this website on a facebook page, but i can't find that page anywhere....maybe it was a comment.

March 1st was the last update to Baby Lisa Irwin XXXX page - almost 50,000 members, no mention of the new website.

🤬🤬🤬 Lisa Irwin 🤬🤬🤬 has a picture of Lisa with her face cut out - no website update there.

xxxx 🤬🤬🤬 Lisa Irwin - a page that has been around for a while, no website posted, just a big picture of Deborah Bradley's deceased mother, Lisa.

Lisa Irwin 🤬🤬🤬 - 27,000 members - nope, no sign of the new website.

🤬🤬🤬 Find Lisa Irwin - no website mentioned.

At least 80,000 + opportunities missed. Just input "Lisa Irwin" in the facebook search to see for yourself. (No links provided here for TOS reasons).

Doesn't really matter anyway. Linking a website to your facebook is only as good as an ad on Craigslist. After a few posts the entry falls by the wayside, and I doubt anyone is willing to put the link up every day. Linking to facebook is good for the day, and if it helps, great, but not something that will help long term.

deann-- you lost me lol

i got the wrong court but i provided the info?

Your original post had two links. One for a federal court that's obviously not right in this case. You also had what Dan White had to say. That part is the relevant information.

Do we know who owns those facebook pages? Anyone can start a group or a FB page for whatever reason or for not reason, call it what they like, then keep it updated or let it fall by the wayside. Also some FB groups / pages only require one hit the "LIKE" radio button while others you have to be approved to participate. If the owner has neglected the pages, or changed email addresses, those applying to be a member of that page may not ever be heard. DB may not have control over all these FB bearing her daughter's name or likeness.

It's simple, you "like" the page, you post your link. No email involved or messaging involved. Virtually every page I listed is a matter of "liking" the page. You can't message the owner of a page, there's no option. I have several pages, and unless I block a particular member, anyone can join and post.

There's no excuse for not posting the link, especially to the pages with the large memberships.

The point is, where is the website being posted?

I just want to thank whoever put the time and effort into creating the new Find Lisa Irwin website.

Do not let any negative thoughts from people who care more about punishing people without any solid evidence hinder anyone in their efforts to find Lisa.
