Suspect follows woman, throws belt around her neck before sexual assault in Bronx: NYPD

In a disturbing video, a man was seen following a woman in the Bronx, then throwing a belt around her neck before sexually assaulting her, according to police.

''He then took out a belt and tossed it around the woman's neck from behind, according to police, before sexually assaulting the victim while she was unconscious.

No arrests have yet been made. The man's face was covered up, the video shows, but anyone with information that could help lead to an assault is asked to contact police.''

The NYPD’s Special Victims Unit is investigating the violent sexual assault, cops said.

However, the victim has stopped cooperating with authorities, according to police sources.

Also to add that if he's willing to do this in public, what would or has he done to her in private - she has good reason to fear him

But do the cops need her co-operation if the crime's on video?

If you search for his name, there is video of a group trying to handle it by street justice. interesting to see 4 police officers trying to keep him sage.
I do hope they still persecute him, even if the victim has decided not to pursue the charges. He can only get worse.
