I wonder what this man's story was. He doesn't really appear homeless. Why did no one apparently miss him? Was he alone towards the end of his life?

I wish that it would be specific about what type of store. It could be a heart attack or some other type of sudden illness common in that age group. There are many people that don't remain close to their family members throughout their life, especially in old age sadly. I have a grandmother who is near 80 and has all but cut off most of our family.

I wonder if they have DNA on him or anything they could get DNA from. He isn't listed in the Doe Network, and I couldn't find any further info on him. Like many unknowns in New York, he is buried on Hart Island-

I wonder if he was known in the neighborhood/had been seen before. Or was he possibly not even from the US? NY is a big place. Why did he not have ID with him? It could just be chance, of course.
