Found Deceased New Zealand - Barbara Thomson, 75, Taupo, 21 Feb 2017

Police are searching for a missing 75-year-old Taupo woman who has not been seen since the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Barbara Thomson regularly fishes at the mouth of Waitahanui River, 5km from her home, first thing in the morning and usually returns home by 9am.

She did not return home on Tuesday.

So sad. I'm familiar with her work. The facts don't sound good. A slip and fall with strong current? I truly hope I'm wrong.
