I was wondering what happen to your post. I think you should still participate! I thought it was a great theory. I guess you can't mention what you did in the first half of who you thought was involved. I think there is a sticky of that somewhere.

ANyways I wanted to post off yours. When her dad took the gas cans out on the 24th there was no smell in the trunk. So if thats the truth then it gives what 3 days for somethign to happen for a dead body to get in her trunk. Now It makes me wonder what the flurry of calls where about on the 17th.. Nothing adds up LOL..

I think that kind of goes against the reasons for making this thread. Let's be welcoming to EVERY poster. That's what us newbies want. To be accepted, without gripieness, ya know? Well oops - I posted something a minute ago and then happened to check my email where I was "warned" not to mention certain suppositions until proven. I thought this was an ONLINE sleuthing forum, where theories were posted, etc. I did not use any names other than first names, which have been bantered about on this and other forums.

This has puzzled me too about how some things are taboo (gangs). Maybe Tricia or another mod. could expand and clarify on what's allowed and why?

I also think casey had to ditch the car because of the smell, and she definitely thought her car was going to be stolen...hence leaving the purse...

Not to be inappropriate, but it reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where the car had "B.O." from the valet...at the end of the episode, Jerry threw the keys on the front seat in front of a bum...who couldn't take the smell either, LOL

Thanks so much, SusieClue. I ditto what all the other newbies have said--I've posted a few times, but with much fear. I always want to say, "Don't taze me, bro" but I'm afraid someone will get mad. It may be in the rules somewhere.

There's also a thread about the acronyms (like LOL, JMHO, etc.) somewhere. I've spent hours and hours going through old threads so I don't post a duplicate message, but I there are only 24 hours in a day...

In fairness to the "oldie" sleuthers, they are probably accustomed to each other, and know who to ask about what, etc. And it doesn't help that some posters seem to treat the main board like a chat room.

Some "oldies" are very gracious and kind and welcoming, and I do so appreciate it.

I got interested in this case cuz I heard one of the players say something on the news, and I thought, "Hold on a sec, didn't you say something different a couple of days ago?"

And once I started paying attention and saw little Caylee's pictures, I was hooked. And angry!!!

I'm pretty confused. I read all the rules before I even joined and have read most all of the threads, too. The main rule seems to be (pertaining to this case) that people should not post personal info or insinuations about innocent (and yet unnamed?) parties. That's how I understood the rules. I hope I didn't read it wrong.

The main thread this evening was just halted for a "clean up" (in aisle 78? lol) ............. and I am totally clueless about what happened. I was reading it and suddenly it was closed with a warning by the moderator.

I hope a moderator will pop in here to help us newbies out a bit.

I'd guess they're just sick of the media being inconsiderate. The media people should not be knocking on peoples' doors, imo. They just shouldn't. If they want to wait out on the street for these people to come out of the house, I suppose that's part of their job and reasonable, but knocking on the door (however often they do it) isn't acceptable or reasonable, IMO.
