BBM. A normal response would still be to go over and find out why she's unconscious and ask if she needs help/medical attention called for.

& it bothers me that even the (guard?) second man in the video doesn't kneel down to check on her??? He holds the elevator door open but doesn't check her either.

Pathetic actions by all, inside and outside of the elevator.......

She hasn't seen the last of his abuse based on my experience....he will simply project his unemployment, loss of 45 mil income and criminal reputation on her, and the abuse will likely escalate.

I see shades of OJ and his Dream Team and Kobe Bryant with his Denver Defense Attorney Hal Haddon. Oh, and Rae Carruth's conviction of murder for hire, too. Let me go ahead and add Oscar Pistorius into the kettle with them. One would think that being monetarily wealthy makes you mean as a mad dog.

Sorry, I was referring to Goddell and whether he knew about the knockout before the dragging.
Although I do agree that people witnessing her on the floor and him moving her with his feet and dragging her like a doll, and not saying anything is very sad. I am appalled everyday at what I see humans do to other humans, it is very unsettling to say the least. I wish i could erase about half of what I have seen. Very sad indeed.

There are still some idiots defending him, of course, because there always seem to be some idiots that raise athletes to rsome ridiculous level.

I remember right after the Goldman/Brown-Simpson murders every single guy I knew, including my own husband, swore up and down that OJ was innocent. However I will say they all came around eventually, most right after the Bronco fiasco. But it was interesting how vehemently they defended him initially.

I saw the same thing with Kobe. Personally, I always believed his victim, still do, but I know so many people who get really ticked when I refer to him as the rapist. As if having Basketball talent somehow equates to having high moral character.

Yeah, like that ship hasn't sailed.

The first photo of the two of them in this article says it all. His expression is pissed and he's tightly holding her hand so she can't get away from him and she looks thinner and is looking down at the ground, knowing she's in for more...
In the 2nd photo he's leaning into her, she has her arms crossed defensively.

Ray Rice needs to watch the Jay-Z/Solange Knowles elevator video over and over to see how a big, strong man can defend himself from an angry (and smaller and weaker) woman. There was absolutely no need for RR to strike his fiance in order to protect himself. NONE.

I just happened to turn on the TV and see a show called "Master Class," this time featuring Jay-Z. I don't know much about him, and maybe he's not the greatest guy or husband or whatever, and perhaps Solange had legitimate reasons to be angry with him. But I did find this quote from him to be insightful and explains why he didn't so much as lift a finger against her and yet still managed to come out of that elevator completely unharmed:

On being a man:

"At that age, being tough and not being taken advantage of...you had to be tough. But now being tough, a lot of those lines are becoming blurred. It comes with maturity and knowing who you are as a person. It's not about bravado or putting on a show for anybody. ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) "The video of Ray Rice punching his fiancee inside a casino elevator was sent to NFL headquarters to the attention of league security chief Jeffrey Miller in April, a law enforcement official says."

"The NFL has repeatedly said no one with the league saw the violent images until TMZ Sports released the video earlier this month. Miller said Thursday through an NFL spokesman that he never received the video."
