I think all LE is way too secretive when a person, especially a child, is still missing. Find the child by any means necessary and then you can clam up. JMO

Wish her parents would make a personal plea for her. I haven't seen anything from them, but I might have missed it. Still going through links. Also looking around on facebook, and finding it sad that all her friends don't have her poster on their page. Very few do. Not even her sister has her poster or anything about her. Unless what they are all posting is private or something, but not seeing a lot of interest. Her boyfriend's Dad posting lots and upset about the Amber Alert not being used. Nothing public on the boyfriend's page about Abby. Did see one friend that has a photo posted with Abby sitting on a bus. Not sure when it was taken, or if she normally rode the bus. Just browsing around, but not seeing note worthy really.

Hey, that site that lots of kids post for modeling or something.. anyone seen if she has a page there? I can't remember the name of the page or I would look there. I don't use twitter, can someone see if she has a twitter page? Looking for anything in social media she may use.

Just recently another missing person disappeared right around their birthday. Abby's birthday occurring right after her disappearance is probably just a coincidence but could she have planned something with someone she met online? LE has likely already scoured her computer.

Lots of stuff we do not know - someone earlier today (Lata ?) said her walk home would take prolly 44 minutes. She left school around 2:30. The mother (parents) probable work, if sister is younger(?) does she arrive home by school bus. Mother reported her missing around 7:30? Was phone, purse found at home? Was sister already there, was door open? Crime scene tape and police at the townhouse, did something happen there? Am just wondering .
Lotta missing info, but nearby area is wilderness .

Everything I've read so far says she lives with her Mother. Maybe Mom worked a shift like 7-7 so didn't know she was missing until then. Not sure. IMO, they found something at the home that indicated abduction.

The fact that they upgraded Abby's missing person to "abducted"...LE must have some sort of evidence to substantiate that she is not one to runaway.
Her sister may be older and not go to her high school anymore. That is a pretty long walk and unbeknownst to her someone could have watched her each day.

That could be, nearby outlet stores open til 9pm, many restaurants where mom might work.

Oh, it is "abducted" now. My news is from you guys and wifi, no tv here.

Not that this means anything, but the App. Trail is not far from here, Mt. Washington is 50 miles as the crow flies. A female hiker this past late spring vanished after speaking to he husband by cell phone. 2-3 wk. search party, reward, helicopters- nothing, never found.
Surrounding wilderness says it all, if someone from the area did something, she may never be found, it could be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Nothing found til coming snow is gone and a hiker stumbles across something. Hope that is not the case. After this weekend the next busy time is ski season.
Just surmising, feeling bad for her and the family. Hoping for a good outcome.

Thanks 2h4, they will not be doing any local traffic stops this weekend, this is last hurrah of tourists. North/south Rd. Where she walked is really sort of a local bypass, so they don't get caught up in tourist traffic on 16 or 302. Can not see her being pushed into car along her walk home route at all.
We live 30 miles away, but go to no.conway at least 2x a week, I am no expert of anything, thought I better tell you that.
