Which map are you looking at? I can maybe help you guess if you post it.

It's Village Way !

I'm not looking at any maps other than those posted here.. but the White Pages and other people search sites give the address as Village Lane.

I haven't seen anything about cameras except the school one. Are there no more cameras on her walk home? Might not be! Walmart has them, but whether they are on or not is a different question. I want to know if any other camera saw her going on, and if anyone was with her, or following her!!! IMO, something happened at that home! I'm glad to see immediate searching of the home, and around the home. We don't know what evidence they found then, and could have been something like she had made a sandwich but hadn't eaten it yet, or shoes were left at the doorway. I did notice in one news taping a shot of two or three pair of shoes outside the door. I remember one being sneakers, one look similar to mocassins (sp?). In the school video, Abigail had on tall boots. Wonder if she was in the habit of removing shoes before entering the house?

MSM videos and statements say she lived there with her Mother. We know she had a sister because the sister and mother were at LE for several hours one day. Appears parents are either separated or divorced. Does Mom have a boyfriend? Was a guy interested in Abigail and she's blown him off? Did someone see her walking home alone and decided to follow? Not much mention about the Dad either, though I don't think he is involved. Just usually see a united front between the parents during media, and to my knowledge, haven't seen that. Mom was alone during her press statement, which broke my heart! A friend, family, daughter, someone should have been with her, IMO!

Another question, is Abigail on the track team, or involved in running? Could she have chosen to 'run' home for training? School worker stated he had seen her walking those past two days. But we still don't know if that was normal or not!

I'm sure LE has the answers to these questions, and unlikely that us websleuthers could solve the case, but would be nice to have a few tidbits of information that wouldn't harm the investigation! Telling people to keep your eyes open, well that's fine and dandy, but how many people are there in that area that look like Abigail? So many tall, thin, long haired girls in my area that just that description wouldn't help find anyone! Heck my daughter ran track and the couches consistently called her and her friend by the wrong names, and many assumed they were twins when I took them anywhere!

BTW, I sure wish we saw this much professional activity in ALL missing cases!!! They are pulling out all the top guns to help, and that's what every single missing person deserves!

I'm not looking at any maps other than those posted here.. but the White Pages and other people search sites give the address as Village Lane.

The townhouse that was cordoned off was on Village Way. That is the only residence that has been associated with the Abigail. It's near Pudding Pond, Walmart, the power lines, etc. All of which are being referenced in her disappearance. The address on Village Lane is over by the Saco River near the old high school.
I'm not sure why a search of the family through the White Pages and other searches you are doing is turning up the "lane" address.

ETA: It's also a circuitous route of almost 5 miles from the high school to the "lane" address. Doesn't seem likely anyone, let alone a 14 year old girl, would choose to walk.

I'm just catching up from the weekend. Her cell pinged miles away from her home. I think friends of hers know something. LE knows something, whatever she was doing on her cell I am sure they are watching/talking to whoever. Unless she went for a run after school, but her mom probably would know that was the case.

I guess it must just be an error somewhere, but it was sure confusing for a while - as you say, it was a long walk! But given how inaccurate some of the reporting continues to be, it wouldn't have massively surprised me if they had the wrong road....

Right, I shall relocate my thoughts to Village Way...

The article below does state she is on the track team.
Did she normally go home after school and return to school for track practice? When Abby wasn't home after her mom arrived did the mother call the coach to see if she had made practice? Did she run after school or during the week on the path and in the locations where LE is searching?

I have been curious whether her sport could be where the perp noticed Abby.

Abigail Hernandez was last seen Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. walking home from Kennett High School in North Conway, where the raven-haired teen ran for the track team and was described as quiet and bright. Investigators believe that she made it to her mother's rented condo on Village Way, but when Zenya Hernandez came home from her nursing job, her daughter was gone.

There is another mistake on many of the maps posted. On North/South rd - there is an exit/entrance into Settlers Green.....the next and only exit way to turn left or right is the Artists Falls Rd. That is the only turn available ..honest. The maps show all kinds of roads thru....but they may be future plans, not now.

I am only surmising - but IF she walked home she would not have continued walking down the No/so Rd...after the Settlers Green cut thru.

Moo and all that

Who was at the house If she did go home?

:seeya: Hey girl, long time no see.

What I'm wondering is if she had a plan for someone to meet her at home and go off with them, either an actual friend or an online ' friend' that maybe she didn't really know but thought was someone else. Kwim?

this would explain why the tracking dogs lost her scent (getting into a vehicle with someone she knew, and then meeting with foul play)

Hey SCHMAE!:seeya:

Im thinking along those lines also.
Are her parents together?
Is there a BF in the pic for MOM?
A neighbor?

I think it would be someone that knew she was home that time alone every day!
