I think they have to do the searches. No stone unturn, no lead not looked at. I think LE is doing a great job. I am impressed. I forget how some states tells us everything but then we get to NH or ME and we get zip.
I can't imagine LE not having any credible lead. Hoping today Abigail comes home.

The New Hampshire teenager who’s been missing since last week used her cell phone in the hours after her disappearance, according to a report on MyFoxBoston.com.

Abigail Hernandez, who turned 15 on Saturday, used her phone near the Cranmore Mountain Resort, which is about two miles from her North Conway home, police said Monday. Authorities have not released specific details about the call.

It's so frustrating not having much information. That last use of her phone could mean EVERYTHING, or absolutely nothing if the other party has already been investigated/cleared!

Who all lives in that house

good question...

Young said the family includes Hernandez's mother, Zenya Hernandez, her sister, Sarah, and her father. Zenya and Sarah Hernandez have spoken publicly about the case, but there has been no information released about her father's identity, or where he lives. Young would only say that each family member has been contacted and "they have each been very helpful."

"I won't comment on anything regarding any family members," Young said when asked about Hernandez's father.

The search for Abigail Hernandez continues, six days later, with no sign of the missing North Conway, N.H. teen.

At a Monday news conference her sister, Sarah, made an appeal for her safe return.

"Abby we really miss you, we need to know that you're safe, please come home. If you know where Abby is please keep her safe and let her come back to us," said Sarah Hernandez.

It's been days of major searching, with dozens of investigator combing wooded areas, waterways - some investigators even up in helicopters.

Monday night, dogs from New England K-9 Search and Rescue scanned the woods near the middle school for any trace of human scent.

Fish and Game officials say five dog teams were out earlier in the day searching high probability areas including Kennett High School in North Conway.

A quick look at the weather record from yesterday in Conway states no (0) wind speed.

A scenting dog experiences his/her objective via cones of air (breeze) close to the ground. Im not saying there needs to be a lot of wind. Just that the report yesterday said no wind.

This is not ideal conditions for the canine who depends on wind, moisture and finding a path of scent. They are wonderful animals but the terrain and weather conditions control the course of odds which vary greatly.

The answer will be found where the situation began--look again.
Just my opinion and gut rambling here.

If she were my sister/daughter I would be speaking from my own script. However, the family I'm sure wants to do what's best. Bless em all.

Utmost respect for Abby, family and LE

This is very interesting!
And raises many questions don't you agree!
I do believe if she was related to A Hernandez that the media would be all over it like white on rice but that questions lingers still. He does have a brother!
And bad things seem to befall his family members.
I believe something happened when she got to the house! Not that something happened to her IN the house.
Just my O and :twocents:

There is a big disconnect somewhere, the "powers that be" say give us leads, any leads. The other hand seems to say - move along folks -nothing to see here.

I wondered that. Wondering if something happened at home and she never went back out - well, not walked out herself. Could her phone have been used to set a false lead?

It`s been 5 days since Abigail Hernandez was last seen in Conway. The teen, who turned 15 on Saturday, was reported missing by her mom on Wednesday after she didn`t come home from school.

CBS 13 News spoke with several of Abby`s friends, who tell us they saw her hours just before she disappeared.

"I was walking behind her and I was going down Eagles Way and she turned off onto a dirt road on the right hand side
," DF, Abby`s friend said.

DF said at the time, she didn`t think anything of it.

Isn't it also by that blimming Village Lane that White Pages insists the family live at??

Why, yes it is! I was thinking about you and what you had said. However, it seems a matter of record that AH and her family actually reside on Village WAY not LANE.

Looks like she and Abby were close friends, and it appears they walked home together that day?

Since Celina's case remains unsolved, they might well bring out all of the resources, even before knowing what may have happened.

Even for a teen run away? It just seems like overkill for a runaway teen. Don't get me wrong! I wish they did do this every time a teen disappeared! But crime scene tape at home which would mean mom can't use home....I think there is much more going on that LE isn't sharing. I haven't caught up on the thread yet, but hoping for some good news today!

Could this case involve human trafficking? A small town in New Hampshire doesn't sound to me like somewhere where young girls at a real risk of being abducted for trafficking, but I have never been to the area and know next-to-nothing about it.

I doubt that North Conway teens would be at risk, however any one befriending strangers on the internet is at risk :(

On that note, I wonder if LE is reporting the 'older boy' recently friended just to deter all the questions as to why FBI called in, and crime scene tape at the home. Is it a decoy so that whoever does have her will let their guard down? Why so tight lipped on every aspect of the case, then throw this major bone out?!

We do not know if she walked to school that morning or took the bus, or if it was usual for her to walk. She was a freshman, 900 plus kids at that school, today is their first day back since Friday. I believe the kid that saw her, but that is not thru LE. Media must be desperately searching for anyone that will talk.

Hard to know what to believe, if we listed what we know.....mostly a blank page.
I give LE much credit, but think they have been muzzled.

Then she didn't go home after school?
