I am sure many of you were sleuthing AH too, her FB page came out since she was tagged on that missing page. It seems she doesnt have much privacy on that account, except that her post is widely available to friends.

I tried looking for other social media sites but i cannot find her specially twitter and Instagram or maybe she have some petnames she's using on those account or she'll be hashtagged by the #prayforabby tag too their friends are using in instagram and twitter. I cannot find her

phones for kids must have a "red button " they can push if they are in trouble, it will activate the phone's camera, Audio recordings , location that will be sent to the email of the parents right away.

I just keep focusing in on what JY said and she said there was no call at 6:30pm. She didn't say there wasn't any calls, and when she was pressed about the call being from Cranmore resort she instead reiterated that there was no phone call at 6:30pm. She isn't saying a call wasn't made from the Cranmore resort area, but she is saying that if there was a call it wasn't around 6:30pm. I just noticed that JY chose her words very carefully on that issue. There may not have been a phone call, they might have pinged her phone. Or she may not have made a call, it might have been a text message. Hard to say what's really true at this point. I think it's interesting they are still so focused on the immediate area. I do hope people were listening when the previous F&G person told people to check their outbuildings. By the by, have they ever talked about where to get flyers from? I'm only a few towns away and we don't have any flyers up here and I'm wondering how to get some.

Maybe she was on her phone up until 6:30 texting or talking and then at 6:30 there was nothing more. . . JAT!

I think there was a call or maybe the phone was turned off at 6:30. A Major doesn't tell that kind of lie to a newspaper... the guy has been around the block.

Here is a Case Archive for Abigail Hernandez:

i agree one million percent. the ONLY reason i could see one lying about that would be if they had a perp in their sights and don't want him to think they are onto them

Wonder if they have checked her landlord and/or previous tenants? There's a reason they cordoned her house right away.

  • #809
If there was no call made, how about "data usage" on the mobile phone?
Am sorry, they want public's help on this but the information out there are so minimal and her name is very common too so it is quite hard to search. Give that girl a tan, little makeup, cut and color her hair and she'll be a different person :(

I wondered the same thing. . . . hate to say this, but maybe the mother found blood. . . or the house was in a disarray as in a struggle happened. . . or her cell phone was there and mother knew immediately she would never leave w/o cell phone ????

or the call that never happened was a call to someone for help...:banghead:

I am leaning more and more towards the theory that LE is simply trying to let someone know they're not going to get in trouble if they bring her back.

There was a call from her phone that night.
There was not a call from her phone that night.
Is it possible LE retracted that on purpose and it's not true?
I can't tell. Every LE is different and there is no rhyme or reason
or rhythm to what they do, right? I'm wondering if there really
was a call but they wanted the information back so they said
there was not one. Some on other threads , in the know, have
said LE is not allowed to give false information to the public. Either the info
is true or they will not give it at all. So...... I'm at a loss .

In the recent case of Nick Steward there was initial word that his phone had pinged at 10:28 p.m., some days later LE said there was no ping then, that a 5:28 p.m. ping was given in GMT and misinterpreted as a ping at 10:28 p.m. and it actually occurred at 5:28 p.m. (CDT).

If this not-ping is 4 hours later (EDT) than the last known ping from her cell use, then it may be the afternoon ping when she hearted her BF in a text but reported to LE in GMT. Does that make sense?

Good theory! I like it.

It may be that the last time the phone pinged was at 6:30, rather than a phone call being made at 6:30. Technically this could have been an error in terms. Technology allows phones to be tracked within a hundred feet via GPS coordinates. Again, how ironic that a human skull was found at those coordinates if the prior statement is true. Yes, LE isn't immune from lying if it is to the benefit of the missing persons case. They don't owe us their knowledge, though it may just be that the reporter misunderstood pings for an actual phone call.

was there also any chance that she is planning to go back to school?
Some high schools athletes , choirs , special projects here in california are sometimes meeting in the afternoon.
but i can imagine the walk agIn 2 miles going home and if she's going back another 2 miles not unless someone is
giving her a ride
Imo

Nancy Grace stating was a ping but no phone call. Dunno..

  • #818
Media reported the phone was found in the Adrienne Salinas case and stuck to it even when we questioned it and they were wrong. So it happens.

I doubt LE is lying about the call. I think they are confounded as to what happened and if she had made a call at 6:30 that changes the timeline and that would not be helpful, when asking for the public to report any info. JMO

(also and just JMO...the NG show is not reliable as to details, as a rule...just in case anyone is new here...and JMOJMOJMOJMO)

I noticed that as well. She actually did not say there was not a phone call made....she kept saying there was no call at 6:30pm. So, was there a call....at another time? That almost felt like what she was saying.

As far as Abi being a runaway...I live in Vermont, which is pretty close. I'd think things are pretty similar. Kids don't need to "run away"...there are shelters for young people who will take you in. The catch is, they call your parents. Even if she ran away, she's 15 years old, with zero resources. She wouldn't get far. And if she were on the streets, someone would know. She'd be visible. It just doesn't seem like she's the type to run away, from everything I've read. JMO, of course.
