Thank you, Steleheart.

Do you mean you need the links to articles I saved? The only thing I would know to do is to go to the news site, search Abby. That will bring up a list of articles.

At least that is what I do. That, and interceder.net, an excellent source but not always complete. I also use Google alerts, and again often incomplete. I do a lot of searching.

Yes I do that. but I meant that I had not saved you phtobucket link. Most of the media articles I saved in my book marks but I did not rename them as to their significance so I end up searching again with keywords, LOL.

But I saved the photobucket this time!

Or at this point it could have a positive effect. Someone might have actually thought they saw Abby but wasn't sure it was her. At this point imo they are not doing a good job by not releasing where that letter was sent from. It has not been well over three months without any contact that we know of so why not try a different strategy. What they are doing is not working and feel that this might be something that could get her home in my IMO. Maybe some landlord or someone in the community would recognize her that isn't even aware this girl is missing. I just don't get their strategy at all at this point.

Just remember. they don't need to release where the postmark is from to question anyone who might have witnessed something. We don't know that they haven't been talking to people in the area of where the postmark is from. Releasing it to me would do no good, I'm in no position to question anyone and I understand what you're saying, but I'm sure that there are many things going on behind the scenes.

We don't discuss comments written under news articles. You may give other members directions to read the comment for themselves, with a link, but they are not discussable.

Thanks,

I apologize for posting that information. I was under the understanding that on this website we could share information that we come across online. I will be sure never to share any information in the future that I find on another website. I did not say the information that I shared was true but found it to be very interesting to say the least.

Yes, well there is'creative imagination'and there is 'critical thinking' so we should just stick to sleuthing using deductive reasoning, critical thinking and theories based on available information.

I will just go with what Salem posted.

I'm not discussing anything. Nope, not me.

I should add a disclaimer LOL I just found the link, I'm not saying anyfink :)

LOL MamaJ next time could you add a few more of those head bangy thingys? My bald head is gettin shiny!
There will be more tension, especially local as time goes on. Hopefully that tension will cause someone to open up to LE about what they know.
For me, I am not going to read comments on news articles anymore. I have a hard time with it. Someone told me though, anyone can say anything these days, but you not only don't have to respond - you don't have to read them. At this point I'm glad i'm not an LE dude monitoring that stuff.

Or a MOD on WS :) :loveyou:

True stuff. Anybody can write anything! Write it and people take off with it.
The old "That's what they say" begins going viral.

Not here on WS, TY :)

I wonder if there'll be any more letters received in the near future.. Or if the full letter will ever be published?

  • #758
I believe that the one letter we know about has not been the only communication.

I don't think they will ever release a full letter or full details regarding any communication.

JMO.

I think they won't release the full letter because it had AH stating that she is fine and is choosing to not come home (not that it could be determined it is her, but it wouldn't do well for getting the public to help, KWIM?)

I wonder, too.

Given that ZH said "correspondence", I might have to agree. However, the use of that word could have just been a stylistic nuance. And, I have to agree with your second sentence.

I think they won't release the full letter because it had AH stating that she is fine and is choosing to not come home (not that it could be determined it is her, but it wouldn't do well for getting the public to help, KWIM?)

I have to disagree (respectfully, of course). I think LE hasn't released the content of the letter because it's integral to their investigation. LE has stated they believe she is in grave danger. Even though I want the letter to be my business, I know and accept that it's not.

I'm curious, at this point (four months in), how much the public is helping? Clearly, those close to Abby and a bunch of others are, but the public? There are 315 million people in the US and, generally, a minuscule number of them are actively engaged in missing person cases. I believe a large portion of the public is fickle and mainly disinterested. Thank goodness Abby has PK, AS, LH, RG and the other wonderful people who are trying to keep Abby's face out there. I give them my sincerest, deepest respect.

Find your way home, Abby!
