Danak, you're a wonder :)

A video would be so helpful; we've been lucky in other cases (Jennifer Ramsaran's is uppermost in my mind) to have locals go out and make videos of the area, and possible routes. It really helps to get things clear in the mind.

A wider question to WS'ers.. do US LE stage reconstructions? Over here it seems to happen quite often - get someone who looks like the missing person/victim to re-enact the last known movements, if possible at the same time of day. Seems to me this could be really helpful in Abby's case, especially if there are so many out-of-towners passing through.

What an interesting LE tactic, Wolf Dreamer... May I ask where you are from?

Sounds like staging a "reconsstruction" could be very effective in gaining clues...

It is a beautiful day here in New Hampshire. Blue sky with a light breeze, brightly colored leaves falling. Please let this be the day that Abby is found safely.....

Yeah i was checking on Hollye's map too
Good Interactive Map by the way - kudos to her :)
I was checking on that on my Ipad but i guess, it is best to check on the actual PC/Browser to see it clearly
That pond is on her way if she walked by the woods , i dont know why will she even pass that way, if ill walk, ill use the eagle's way straight, not unless she's meeting someone there by mountain st and redstone.

Million dollar question, she had many ways to walk home, those are the 2 ways that all LE must think she went, they have had roadblocks on n/s road asking motorists about a kid walking, I think they started grid search up near the school.

That's true
Wondering what is this "receipt" from Dunkin Donuts that was mentioned on some post/articles? Do you know ? and which Dunkin Donut - it appears there's 2 of them in the area

( lol i cant open this video am at work :) )

Did she buy a drink there or donut?

Unless there is an MSM or LE link to the people mentioned in court cases here in connection with Abby, do not post this here.

Sometimes in press releases we hear LE say to watch for changes in people's behaviors, are they antsy, have they quit a job, moved from where they were living, etc. But we didn't hear that.

Good point, 2Hope4!

We DO hear LE asking the public to watch for people they know who have (fairly recently)...

Cut and/or colored hair...

Acting too interested... Or not interested "enough" (avoidance) of the case...

Deep cleaning of car/vehicle...

Inconsistent traveling/vacay behaviors...

Etc...

but...we have NOT heard this suggestion from LE in AH's case... Have we...:waitasec:

I can not even get there again, but yesterday I had up a real time bing map that had the Home Depot location.....birds eye perfect view of whole area.....we had been thinking then that Abby maybe cut thru settlers green back road, near hotel and continued home.
Now she may or may not have made it home, ya know.

The map I had yesterday may have been the HD location map ???? For N.Conway
Can someone help ?

Abigail's Possible Walking Path ~ 10/9, 2:35pm - 2:53pm
Powerline Trail to Rotary/Mountain Valley Boulevard
Length: 0.65 miles

The distance of this to the POND should be short and she sent a TXT message at 3:07pm?

and we have
Unconfirmed Reports of Abigail Walking ~ 10/9, 20:40 - 3:30pm
North South Road, Between Rotary/Mountain Valley Boulevard
15 Seconds Driving Time (DanaK)
Length: 817 feet

Where is Rotary?
Me thinks, she passed that pond given that time frame she sent the text at 3:07 ( not unless she's not the one who sent it )

Carroll County officials made an unusual move Thursday, Chandler said, by changing policy and allowing county employees to donate their vacation and sick time to Zanya Hernandez, who has been given leave during the crisis but cannot be paid by the county directly while she doesn't work.

Her co-workers at the home have donated enough of their sick time and vacation time to pay her salary for the foreseeable future, and Chandler sees that continuing.

Bless their hearts.

yes... that and the fact that hunters have their eyes open looking for deer, turkeys, etc and could have spotted something suspicious going on, etc.

fwiw, I live in a heavily wooded area that butts up to state land and even though we have signs posted all along the edge of our property (no hunting; private property) we still get hunters that wander onto our land. In fact this morning I looked out the window to see a guy driving down my back lane and got out with his bow! (it is bow season here too right now) I had to yell out the window to tell the guy that he was on my property! When it is rifle season I wear blaze orange when I am working outside burning leaves, etc!!! (my point being that during hunting season people don't always hunt where they are 'supposed' to per se ;-)

oh and as for turkeys (slightly off topic): We have a little group of ten or so that walk by my bedroom window every morning.

cute turkeys..right by your home... :sunshine:

:turkey: :turkey:

They do it here in the UK, it can be an extremely helpful tactic. I agree I think it would be helpful in Abby's case, especially considering the tourist industry. There will be people who are blissfully unaware and they may have seen something important. If LE didn't do it maybe a someone like Nancy Grace could, like they do on Crimewatch here.

Pudding pond is over by her home...far side of n/s rd.
Dinky tiny retention pond is behind Walmart near Redstone. Amazing hollye's map has orange dot called pond...covering the rention pond.

I have iPad too, very troublesome today, can not go between pages on this thread without having to log out.

It wasn't a text at 3:07, it was a ping. It originated from a tower near cranmore mtn. HTH'S!

Is that the Lady visiting a sick husband in the hospital i read somewhere ..
what made them think the receipt was suspicious?
Absolutely what I have been wondering!

GMTA Great Minds Think Alike, or, as I thought it was when I was little, and asked my mom when I was around 6 years old, "Why do you say "Grape vines think alike?! It makes no sense!!!!"

Enunciation is key, so is word choice!

Saw this article, and while it has nothing to do with Abigail, it reminded me of some of the conversations last night around technology and cell phones. I'm glad the entire investigation isn't centered around technology, as sadly, technology on its own rarely solves cases:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...f66ea6-3740-11e3-8a0e-4e2cf80831fc_story.html

Way too many people - especially females- have the false sense if security that a cell phone can keep them out of harms way. Carry pepper spray, or better.
