Just found this: "According to CBS Boston, the FBI tracked Abigail's cell phone activity around the time she went missing. The Union Leader reports the final call on the teen's phone was made near Cranmore Mountain Resort, about two miles from her home.

Officials reportedly said the call was made four hours after the last sighting."

Early on, it was reported a call was made from Abigail's cell at 6:30 PM the day she went missing (which would have been 4 hours after she was last seen), but LE quickly backtracked, and is now claiming no call was made.

How recent is that ?

Doesn't appear to be recent- it was within the first 5 days she went missing. This is the report that had all of us aflutter in thread #1.

What is the date of that report? I believe that statement has been retracted and it was determined that her phone "communicated with the Cranmore cell tower" at 3:07pm. It is understood that the "communication" was a ping, not a text or call. That was the last communication known.

Might have had a car to look for if LE had said its possible she got picked up .

:tantrum:

Ok I have a question. The way that she walked home would that be suitable for a car or only three wheelers and those back woods vehicles kids ride?

That thought just crossed my mind. Maybe they have to look at who went riding in the woods. Especially that neck of the woods Abby would have been walking in.

Edit: nvm

Thanks for the info. I guess I should have realized that there would be conflicts with the time.

Not many kids walk from school towards walmart. i think Crickets said its a .9 mile driveway and I'd believe it. a few do and I see them disperse around the Walmart / Lowes area. After school jobs maybe?

I have always wondered why she chose to walk that day when she had a bus at the ready.

Was that her habit to walk or was that day special?

I believe I read a newspiece somewhere on the web a day or two ago about a reported recent abduction attempt of a teenage girl in Berlin, NH, late at night. I've been trying to locate this story in order to find a link, but so far no luck.
Does this ring a bell with someone?

That's false/outdated information that was originally provided by LE about a supposed 6:30 pm call which LE has since said actually did not happen. LE is now saying the last signal from Abby's phone was at 3:07.

I really wish that incorrect info about the 6:30 call had never been released to the MSM; it keeps being repeated/quoted as fact when it's not. LE released the official timeline 5 days ago (10/17), so I think anything timeline-wise from before then should be considered as questionable. The timeline was released to clear up a few inaccuracies that had previously been reported.

Walking home from school was her habit, she took this route daily.

Thanks for clearing up that the information was incorrect.

Also, since the time was unreliable, should we even rely on the information that says the last call she made was from a ski resort?

I recall this as well, but can't seem to locate a link. I'm sure it's in one of the previous threads... but a 30 second Google search didn't pull it up. I don't recall what city it was in. Are you sure it was Berlin?

DanaK, I apologize for posting it again. I wasn't aware that the information was false. I should have checked before.

I remember when LE "scaled back" searches for Jessica H. in Michigan a few weeks in...and now she is missing for six months...

There's no way to recall everything posted in every thread. I find myself relearning info I already knew all the time. :)
