Leave bf's dad out of any discussion here. He is not a suspect or POI. His demeanor and any drama on the FB page is not to be brought onto this thread.

Sincere question here- has the boyfriend's Dad been officially cleared in terms of being a suspect or POI? I know that I have read that Abby's father has been cleared so far, but haven't seen anywhere where anyone else has been cleared at this point. I've read so many articles my eyes can't see straight, so perhaps I missed it. :floorlaugh: I am an old lady after all, the eyes aren't as good as they used to be. :blushing:
I don't think anyone other than dad has been mentioned as cleared and that was in response to questions of his whereabouts. However, bf's dad has not been identified as a suspect or POI.
ok let's go somewhere else for a few minutes.
someone earlier mentioned the homecoming dance. it was october 5th; DNC posted that she had just driven both abigail and her bf to kennett for the event. the week prior was 'spirit week' at the high school. there are a few hundred pictures on the student council facebook (cannot and do not post please, only minors are on there) of their theme days but not one of the homecoming dance. in fact, it's skipped all together.
this is the only mention on any official KHS site, in the principal's letter:
https://sites.google.com/site/principalsnewsletter/
in addition, i cannot find one single photo of any KHS student attending the dance (pre-pics, party pics) nor a mention by any of abigail's friends or bf's friends of their night.
does anyone else find it odd? it was the highlight of the return to school.
the day after, sunday the 6th, she attended the fryeburg fair with her bf's family. no pictures of that either, anywhere. merely a mention by the bf's father after her disappearance.
two very public places, very public events, and no mention by anyone as it being the last time they saw her...which for many, was probably the last they saw her unless they were in her classes or rode her bus.
monday she worked in housecleaning. that is a very busy three days for a 14 year old...you'd think by wednesday the last thing she'd want to do is take a 2-mile trek home vs. riding the bus with her boyfriend.
thoughts?
Agreed! Many good points there indeed, which makes you wonder...
Hi everyone, I am back from the north country..... even with most of the leaves already have fallen it is still breathtaking (it always is).... anyways, i will highlight here what we did....
there were 6 of us... me and hubby drove to Lincoln (about 40 miles west of conway on the Kancamagus Hwy.....aka rt. 112) on Saturday we started early and though this was originally planned weeks ago as a mini vaca it turned into a hike with purpose.... we got 4 of our local friends from lincoln involved and we split into 3 teams of 2 and spent Saturday and Sunday hiking the entire Kancamagus and along the Pemigawassett (sp?) River and the Swift River.... the rivers are VERY low so anything like a bag or backpack that could have been tossed would most definitely have gotten caught on rocks and boulders...... long story short we did not find a single thing.... not anything..... we also drove the entire kancamagus and stopped at every pond and got our mucking boots on and walked the perimeter of every pond to get a visual and look closely.... every one of us inspected any type of odor or anything and came up with absolutely nothing... no bag, no shoes or clothes and no abby...... its disheartening, but I do feel better knowing we looked very hard and we talked to EVERY single hiker we came across.... we spoke to the Rangers at Lincoln Woods and they have searched that area with rangers from the US Forest Service.......
Just some thoughts:
To summarise:
I consider it most likely that AH at some point entered a vehicle and probably willingly so.
It's obviously impossible to discount a stranger abduction, but that is, as I see it, the less likely scenario.
Again all IMHO.
