OT but does anyone know if this feature is available on tapatalk?

I'm several days behind on this thread. Life happened :(

Everything above is JMO!

Here is another suggestion for getting caught up...,depending on how long a WSer has been away from the thread...

On post number 1 of each of Abby's threads is a link to a "Just Media Thread"...

the mods do a terrific job of posting any and all MSM articles pertaining to
Abby's case... And are arranged in chronological order...

In fact... These "Just Media" Threads are often collated in cases where there is a great deal of activity...

put the phone down?! =abnormal with teens I know. Their cell phones seem more like an appendage on their hands. I've never known of, or seen a teen without their lifeline cell phone :giggle:

I do agree, hearts, a smiley or single word 'grunts' are very common in teen texting. She may have simply replied to JCs last comment with a heart. Maybe his last comment was ending their text communication with some sort of endearment hence her response. It sounds like they had a pretty mundane conversation via text.

I was thinking her phone might need to be charged and she would come into the house and set it on the charger and take her pups outside.

Don't these kids also skype so they can see each other on the computer.

Anyway it just seemed strange to me that 30 minutes...2 miles...no more activity.

Hummm.

Yes! Maybe JC was getting off at his bus stop and saying goodbye so she sent the heart, that would be a natural end to a conversation.

If I am not mistaken that heart text was sent to JC in the school parking lot. He was on the bus and she was on her way walking.

Her texting was just about 30 minutes the amount of time others have said walking the two miles to her home would take. I am sure IF she reached her home she would set down her phone and take her doggies out. Normal.

QUOTE]

IF she wasnt surprised coming through the door, or IF the wooded path she would have had to have taken from N/S Road to Village Way wasnt where she disappeared...

Yep that too! Or perhaps somebody called to her and she..went to see what they wanted...somebody waiting and knowing RG and Sarah were both gone.

School got out around 2:30 or so. They said the last text{the heart} was received at 3:10pm. I would think the bus had left before that time.

OOps my mistake. THe last message was at 2:53. This is all too confusing, Hehe

  • #707
2:53 was the last text. Last phone ping was 3:07 IIRC

I know this was posted here....... but since I chose not to be a verified poster all I can say is this...... this link is proof he was located..... and that would be NHSP that handled that...... soooo with that said I can tell you he had to pass through their hands and IMO the tip was taken seriously (as I knew it would)

According to the police timeline, the last text (the heart) was received at 2:53. The last time the phone pinged the cell tower was at 3:07, but the 3:07 ping wasn't from a text or call.

Thanks I stood corrected on this. Takeit , are you saying this guy is a POI? Or is it just someone you suspect?

  • #711
Pretty slow goings in here. I am guessing people are having their "suppah as we say here in New England.

  • #712
My suppah is in the oven! I even say it to my animals, "Here's your suppah!"

I reported him.... I suspected he was living in conway but registering in maine..... I was right, then he moved to tamworth and his wife started following abby's fb page with no known real life connection.... and she left him, then got back with him..... during this time I was able to prove he was in fact in conway and also appeared for a court appearance in conway when abby went missing....... I stayed in contact with state police and reported any and all I knew so they could locate him, and do what they had to do.....

Our only hope is if Big Jim happens to erupt again! :twocents:

I know that you didn't probably mean this to sound funny, but it struck me funny, anyway. :floorlaugh: Sadly, you are correct, though- it's about the only information that we get on this case, and even then, we don't know what is legit or not from this guy.

I wish I had more to add, but I've got nothing, so back to lurk mode I go. I can't think of another possible scenario, I think everyone has already done a great job posting them all. Unfortunately, all we can do now is wait, for how long, no one knows. Seeing that the girl from Vermont was found safe, that gives a slight bit of hope that perhaps Abby, too, could be safe out there somewhere. At least, I hope she is.
