JMO and I don't want to sound like I am sterotyping, but Abigail does not appear Latina or Hispanic to me at all. If not for her surname, I would never guess she has that background.

I think Abby IS in grave danger. However, I think she's more likely to get out of this alive if she's caught up in an organized crime sex ring doing or forced to engage in prostitution. That said, I think she would be messed up emotionally and probably drug addicted, which would be challenging to overcome. With the sex ring theory, she'd be in the hands of career criminals and would have more value to them alive than dead. Whereas the lone wolf in the woods theory has her in the hands of a VERY sick and twisted person, a loner. No telling what he would do if he felt rejected or abandoned by her. MOO.

He might have been concerned it wouldn't be followed up on quickly enough. Maybe he did that to ensure accountability.

It's really not all that strange. But still working my Fryeburg fair angle, the exhibitors come from all over and live at the fair in their motor homes/campers. Plenty of promise to visit major cities, travel the country and basically get out of small town USA.

Agriculture and carnivals are not the only attraction at these fairs - there's the entertainment venue as well.

It would not have been strange to see a camper/motor home parked behind walmart near the trails waiting for Abby to meet up with them.
In my earlier calculation she only walked that far when the last text was sent. The next 14 minutes spent getting out of there, parking somewhere, changing clothes, etc and disabling/ dumping the phone.

I think those carny groups can be tracked from location to location, I'd presume LE has checked into it but with the transient nature of the movable fairs it might be a goosechase looking for any specific individual.

I disagree. I live in Texas and am used to seeing first generation immigrants from Mexico and Latinas. Many of the Latinas are of mixed ethnicity like Abby. My 16yo son's girlfriend looks exactly like Abby, and she's has one Caucasian parent and one Hispanic. When I showed Abby's pic to my son he was freaked out by the resemblance. I bet there are a lot of girls in this country, especially living in border states, that look very similar to Abby.

I don't think anyone said the letter took two weeks to arrive...just to be claimed or picked up. JMO

Also, if it was mailed from a large train or bus station, Penn Station for example, I could see how pinning down her location would be sifficult and why they would want wider coverage, thinking she was getting onto a bus.

It was a delay in delivery but not 'alarming'

There's a pic attached to the article about the alleged video sighting posted on MHFAH FB page. If the pic is related to the video the man viewed, I don't think it's Abby. Doesn't look like her IMO. Any thoughts?

I understand, but if a "sex ring" was simply looking for Hispanic girls, I do not think Abigail would catch their notice over thousands of others. She looks far more Eastern European to me.

They may not have been looking for Hispanic girls, but if so, she's more Hispanic-looking than most folks in Conway, NH (very few Hispanics there- check demographics). I do think she favors her mom (Russian) more than her sister does.

They may have been looking for vulnerable pretty girls. I think Abby is lovely, and if she got into a car with a stranger she met online, she is in fact, unguarded.

Abby's right eyebrow doesn't seem to have that higher arch seen in the pic of this girl taken from the video. Maybe have to look though other pics to see if her's ever looked like that.

I'm sure they have her family on this and will confirm whether it is her or not soon. It doesn't look to be her from this snapshot of the video, but I've never seen Abby in person. Webcams always seem to distort the face.
