Yes. She could be the mother of the other two (but might be related in other ways), but the third child is unrelated biologically.

Usually a parent/child match is unambiguous. So I am wondering if one or more of the DNA samples was degraded to the point where all they could do was a partial match.

Missing girl from 1973 with an Arizona and Texas connection. Just a thought.

I am thinking he had a woman in TX (maybe the one that accompanied him to AZ) and they had the child. he killed her, the baby was an infant and le took her and left to NH.

in NH he meets "Elizabeth" and I believe she was in the barrel. I think she was a single mom of two kids and was drawn in to the poor single dad w a baby. when things went bad w "Elizabeth, the kids were old enough to know what happened and he killed them too. then moved on to Denise.

That seems like an extremely likely scenario.

I can think of others, but that's pretty straighforward and logical.

It's a maternal DNA match. They were unable to obtain usable nuclear DNA from the adult woman even after several tries.

So while that makes it most likely that she's the mother, she could be (as we discussed earlier) an aunt, sister, cousin through aunts, and so forth.

i think he would get with whomever he felt was vulnerable.

Alka I thought about the same thing,

I do think he was attracted some what to women of various nationality decent i.e. korean, native american possibly latino some would refer as exotic women.

Do not know Denise's background other than she may have been of French decent given her last name and the area she was from.

Agree I'm not looking into it either but it is a pattern of his profile

Yep. My only hangup with this is that no one in that NH local area seems to remember this woman and her children. No family there seems to be missing her, no ex-husband or boyfriend or grandma looking for her kids, etc. That's why I was wondering if there is a pit-stop somewhere in that isotope region we are missing that he made where he met her, and then maybe he heard about Waumbec Mills hiring and they moved there?

He simply could have killed them elsewhere and transported them by barrel, unless it's been confirmed the barrel's are from that area.

it also makes sense he had a wife and kids before. I bet he was abusive to her and why she took the kids and left. but it explains why he wasn't hesitant to take a baby. he already had some experience w babies.

I'm SO shocked! I'm also confused (sorry) about when his daughter was born. Would he have been in the northern/midwestern states from 1975-1977 since they were unaccounted for? Is that when his daughter was born?

So they would have all died in 1978-1979, correct?

its possible that he met her along the way or were from a different town.

True, but we know he was spending time in that area because he was working at Waumbec and, later, meeting Denise, and doing work at the trailer park, etc. So it would have had to be some kind of long-distance relationship and someone had to be caring for his daughter. We can't rule it out, but it doesn't seem like the most likely scenario.

That's exactly what I'm saying - I think he met her along the way.

I went back to listen to the video interview with him, and now I'm kicking myself that I didn't identify that slow almost lazy cadence as Colorado. :p (Like the guy voices the Coors ads.) I guess Wyoming is sort of close...

<mod snip>

It's best to flag the post and send a query to a moderator to get an answer about a question like that. Normally I wouldn't answer because discussing the rules isn't really on topic, but I thought other people might have the same questions. Besides LE sources, we can use mainstream news outlets, including certified reporter Twitter/FB/etc. And the big missing/UID sites: Doenetwork, Namus, Charley Project, NAMPN, NCMEC, as well as medical examiner and state sites (Cal DOJ for instance).

And if there's any question, query a moderator before posting, not after.

Yeah I found that interesting carbuff, how his alias identity is copied after his real one, just a tad bit off...Wyoming instead of Colorado, possibly Danish instead of Norwegian ancestry, etc. Close enough to be in the ballpark if pressed on it, but far enough away not to give up the game.

It's really scary to consider, but I feel like she could be from anywhere. Maybe we should go back to the Isotope mapping of his daughter and compare with these newly discovered known locations?

Feel long distance relationship ...

Without naming names, it's been established that his brother was violent as well. In similar cases this usually begins with the father. I'm sure LE has already looked into whether or not Terry's dad was violent to his siblings and mother.

In his autobiography he did state his parents were abusive

Like a hunch? Or a theory? I'm interested. (and a little wierded out by your ESP earlier, so maybe curious too haha.)

Because I'm remembering his treatment of Denise's daughter, my gut says he would want more access to his victims than that kind of arrangement could provide, but I might be wrong.
