Didn't all the earlier articles state that he was in NH by 1977? Now I am confused. That is what i had believed all along.

Yes, but Piknik wanted to know the earliest specific identified date. The earlier dates have all been very general and the documentation or information behind the dates has not been released.

This creates a fairly small window from the time he left Texas in June of 78 until the time he arrived in NH.

Another interesting quote. "Strelzin said he can't talk about what investigators learned from confidential records." I'm wondering if the death of his brother didn't set him off. There are no confirmed killings before his brother's death, but many FOLLOWING it. 1978 was a BIG YEAR for Terry, and ignoring his brother's death, which I"m hyperlinking here, is certainly a possible trigger point and shouldn't be dismissed. https://www.newspapers.com/image/?spot=13179790

The earliest actual hard date seems to be December 21, 1979 when he issued the bad check, I think.

There's 18 months between June 1978 and December 1979. In this timeframe he changed his name from Terry Rasmussen to Bob Evans and likely killed the woman and 3 children. I know this is repeating info already posted.

Be interesting to know to compare to the victims in allenstown ages and maybe an approximate date of their demise. I've seen one estimate of ages from 2015 and then another from 2017 both from the AG's office. One was in the local paper "2015" and the 2017 was the press release . And there are discrepancies between the age estimates between them.

In other words if in 1980 if there was a 6 month old and a 2 yr old compared to the estimated ages of the victims, it might narrow things down or eliminate some possibilities.

PS: Wish there was a clearing house type of thing to verify information.

Following you on why you poised the question.

JMO based upon the date (Feb 1980) TR mentioned the children and their ages ( 2 yr & 6 mth) could be the youngest A4 and TR's daughter he was mentioning. D/L had not been conceived at this time (Feb 1980) so it auto eliminated her being one the children TR had mentioned. All thou according to the isotopes the 4 of them were together for just a (3) month period in which makes me re-think some of it ...

Ya know TR did not mention a child that would match the age of the oldest child. Wether that child was not with them at the time or he only mentioned the 2 as that he thought he was the father of both of them.

You are correct the age ranges of the children have moved up and down the scale the past few years.

So that answers some of my questions about them being taken at the same event/place and I think we can safely say that TR dated or knew Denise while she was pregnant and he likely would have been around when Dawn/Lisa was born.

I just made it to the end of the PC where reporters ask again about the photos (last 5 minutes) and he clarifies that the date they have on the pictures is just when they were developed. He says it may have been taken earlier than the summer because of her being pregnant.

There wasn't anything else about the Leda Ave location in the PC. Does anyone know if this was Denise's house or "Bob Evans" house prior to them living at 925 Hayward?

One of the problems for us and probably for LE too is that there isn't precise information about a lot of this. The age estimates are only estimates, and they change according to new information. When they did the DNA samples they also reviewed the post-mortem reports (probably did a new exam on the remains) and newer technology gave a narrower range of ages.

The changes in the time of death is interesting. Originally, back in 1985 when the first barrel was found, they had a very wide range, anything from 1975 to 1985. Then they narrowed it, and when they found the "Bob Evans" connection, they seemed to think it had to be 1980-81, though I don't recall seeing that specifically stated, just allusions to it being associated with when he and Denise left. And now they seem to have expanded it again. I presume there's no definitive evidence in the remains and they're going by the information they gather, or something.

It boils down to, I guess we have to keep open to a lot of possibilities.

Believe it was a friends home, had it on my google map just listed as Summer of 1981. when I can get to my laptop I think I have a few articles on the location ...

D/L was born in May or June of 1981 as much as I can figure

From the information out there TR was living at 925 Hayward in 1980 when Elizabeth signed for the certified letter till Nov/Dec 1981 when TR, DB and D/L took off
