Donna Larrabee has been on my radar for quite a while.

  • #582
Donna Larrabee seems to be a potential mother to the MC. Her DNA status is test submitted, not complete. Once it is, it should be run against the UID's in CODIS. I wonder how long her DNA status has been like that.

Not long, I don't think. She didn't even have a Namus page until last year.

I went and read Donna's thread, and it stated they found her briefly in WY that May, but lost track of her after that. WY keeps popping up.

Jeannie Smith is has been ruled out. Thank you.

I re watched the presser too. Lots of good information.

Question regarding isotopes, Is it possible bio mom was not from the highlight areas but TR took bio daughter to one of the highlighted areas shortly before or after her birth? Or is that out of the realm of possibility? Of course, more likely bio mom was also from the highlighted areas by the border but just brainstorming other possibilities.

If a missing person or UID has DNA submitted in NAMUS, does NAMUS only match up exact DNA profiles or will it also match up relatives?

For example UID adult and UID baby found in completely different states/areas? OR missing adult to UID baby?

Just want to know who to include and exclude in the search for bio child's mom or people that could be connected to AT victims such as bio dad of the other two girls.

CONCORD, N.H. — The identities of three young girls and a woman who were murdered some30 years ago and dumped in the woods in Allenstown remain a mystery, but the water theyconsumed during their short lives has offered fresh clues in one of the state’s most bafflingunsolved crimes.
The unique properties of water detected in the hair, bones, and teeth of the victims suggest thatthree of them — the woman and two girls believed to be her daughters — lived together in NewHampshire or a neighboring state, close to the coastline, authorities announced Tuesday. Thewoman was likely in her mid-20s, and the girls were about 9 to 10 years old and 2 to 3.The third girl, believed to be 3 or 4 when she was slain, was born and spent her childhoodsomewhere else, perhaps further inland in northern New Hampshire or as far west asMinnesota. The woman was not her mother, yet it is unclear whether she and the other girlsshared the same father or some other familial connection, according to authorities.Senior Assistant Attorney General Benjamin Agati revealed isotope analysis results and otherdetails about the victims during a press conference Tuesday, flanked by representatives of theState Police, Allenstown police, the FBI, and the National Center for Missing & ExploitedChildren.“These are significant new testing results that we want to share basically with the world,” Agatisaid. Yet, he cautioned that the isotope results are not precise and should not discouragetipsters from calling if they have information that does not match up exactly.
It is more likely than not that all four victims are from the Northeast, according to Agati. Still,he said, other regions of the country have similar drinking water, making it possible that thevictims lived in other states. The woman and two girls believed to be her daughters may have lived on the West Coast, or ina number of states stretching from Arizona northeast to Minnesota. The isotope results werenarrower for the other girl, indicating she may have lived in northern Maine, New Hampshire,

Vermont, upstate New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nevada, or a small part of southeastWyoming.Authorities are planning a media blitz in areas of the country that the victims may have lived, based on the isotope results, Agati said.“They’ve slipped through the cracks and we’ve got to try to find out what happened,” Agati said.He urged anyone with information to call 800-843-5678 or e-mail the New Hampshire StatePolice cold case unit at [email protected].

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children also on Tuesday released new life-likecomputerized images of what the victims may have looked like.
Hunters discovered the partially decomposed bodies of thewoman and the oldest girl on Nov. 10, 1985, on privateproperty that borders Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown. They were found inside a plastic bag, which had fallen outof an overturned steel drum.Nearly 15 years later, in May 2000, a state trooper assignedto the unsolved case was familiarizing himself with the areawhen he found a second steel drum, containing the skeletalremains of the two other girls. It was about 150 yards fromthe other drum.Authorities believe all four victims were killed at the same time between 1980 and 1984.

The isotope results indicate that the woman and three girlsspent the last few weeks to months of their lives together inthe New Hampshire region before their deaths, Agati said. The latest scientific data in the case was the result of DNAtesting done by Virginia-based Bode Technology and isotopeanalysis done by the Florida Institute for Forensic

Anthropology & Applied Sciences at the University of SouthFlorida.“It kind of tears at your heart strings,” said Matt Peltier, a consultant for the National Centerfor Missing & Exploited Children. “Someone out there has some answers and it’s just a matterof showing the pictures to the right people.”

I never heard this before about the reference to 2 kids in a 02/1980 arrest:

Discussion from thread # 1 & 2

There has not been an estimated date given of when Evans & Denise started dating, whether Evans thought D/L was his child is a question as that we do not know when they started dating.

Estimated Date back of Denise's pregnancy give or take a month she would have conceived D/L in Aug/Sept 1980 this would leave D/L out as being the 2 year old & 6 mth old he reference's in the arrest of Feb 1980. I believe the two he referred to was his child and the youngest Allenstown victim.

Denise Estimated Pregnancy Timeline
*Nov 1981 - 6 Months Old
*May 1981 - Born
*Feb - Mar 1981 - 6 Months
*Nov - Dec 1980 - 3 Months
*Aug - Sept 1980 - Pregnant (Conceived)..."

He was working there on the farm. Stolen car was from someone of that farm (can't remember, but I think it was his boss's).

Can you cite a source please?

Simple Google search brought this up.

According to law enforcement, Rasmussen lived in Preston sometime during the mid- to late-1980s, possibly working on a farm.
During this time, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said Rasmussen stole a vehicle from a friend in Preston. He was later pulled over in that vehicle on Nov. 11, 1988 in San Luis Obispo, California.

That certainly sounds more like his known victims.

DNA is Sample available - Not yet submitted per NamUs, so I'm thinking if she were the MC's mother, CODIS will match it when testing complete.

Yeah, it should be automatic.

This information may already be known but figured sorry if so, but found this article today:
Did Serial Killer Terry Rasmussen Live in St. Louis?

"....And now authorities say a new breakthrough in a 35-year-old New Hampshire mystery suggests Rasmussen murdered at least a half-dozen women and young girls, including his own daughter. They're trying piece together his movements through the years — which includes looking into his claim that he once worked as an electrician at Reece Electrical INC. in St. Louis, according to a news release from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children...." 1, https://www.riverfronttimes.com/new...erial-killer-terry-rasmussen-live-in-st-louis

Found this today : [h=3]Suspect ID'd in Allenstown Barrel Case - Ties to Missouri[/h]Today, the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, New Hampshire State Police and Manchester Police Department announced a significant break in the decades old murder mystery of an unidentified woman and three unidentified little girls found in steel barrels in Allenstown, New Hampshire.
The prime suspect in the quadruple homicide has been identified as Terrance Peder Rasmussen.Rasmussen used many aliases throughout his life, including Bob Evans, before he died in prison in 2010.
Investigators need your help to fill in the timeline of where Rasmussen was between the early and late 1970s. They hope this new information brings them closer to finally identifying the four victims who've remained nameless for more than 30 years. The agencies’ press release, along with a timeline and photos, are attached.
NCMEC will release a video later today on missingkids.org/vnr. Media are free to download, use and repackage.
This case has a tie to Missouri. Rasmussen claims to have worked in St. Louis, MO at a Reece Electrical INC. at 7441 W. Lee Street during the early 1970s.

Could he have killed his child 3 months after arriving and kept her in the basement, then added her to the remains of the others when moving them to the park? From what I understand, LE cannot determine exact year of death, so is it possible he killed them months apart or would that difference of a few months be distinguishable by forensics after years of decomp in the barrels? IDK.

Just wondering if he was putting, packaging the remains to dispose of them , dismembering the remains to fit into the barrel, It's not a pleasant thought but wouldn't it be easier to put the smallest child in with the older woman and the oldest child with the middle child. I've read that all four victims were killed at the same time. <shrug> And another twist why no cloths. It's difficult at times to understand the possible reasoning.

We've been asking about why dismember instead of just putting the victims together differently in the barrels. I believe it was due to storing them together in a smaller container prior to being put in the barrels. I've also considered that he didn't want his daughter in with the mother or older daughter because perhaps that was who his violence was directed toward the most. These are just theories, no one really knows why at this point.

Yes, but December of 1978 is more crucial to see if Terry returned to Hawaii as opposed to June 1995. If he did return to Hawaii there is a whole line of questions that could be asked.

Not sure a terrance shows up a couple of other years in the directory also; but mostly it's Noreen at that same addy. Google maps you can see the building , it was located about 2 miles or so from where Peder and Anita once lived.

The 3 related girls and the bio daughter are originally from different areas. Isotopes indicate that they were living with each other for weeks or months prior to their deaths. Also, they were living in NH for weeks or few months prior to their deaths.

I've really focused on the murders happening 1980. But when I think long about the isotopes and how they vary. I think it makes for sense that the murders happened shortly after TR arrived in NH.

TR meets and has a child with another woman. They travel away from where she is from, at some point he kills her and settles down with bio child in one of the highlighted isotope areas, perhaps travels with child to lure another woman. After luring another woman and her kids, the leave together to find better work for TR. TR gets job in NH, arrives and kills them within weeks or couple months after arriving.

Dumps them on the grounds where he works for another year or two and moves on to Elizabeth Evans (if she exists) and then Denise.

I always thought that TR killed first THEN moved second. What if it's the opposite, he MOVES then Kills them in his new home/location. Stays for a while, lures, then moves again with new woman and kills in new location.

Maybe if we are to find the very next place TR went/lived AFTER NH is where Denise is.... kills her once he starts to settle there.

That's not him in the 1978 Hawaii directory. That TR is still alive.
